The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 1 SAHARA GIRL

Race 2 KAR BLU Injured in running, off side shoulder, 10 days
MADAM MEDUSA was best to begin. Shortly after the start DARK CURRENT shifted in checking QUEENSRYCHE. Shortly after the start MILDUE shifted in checking SAHARA GIRL. Down the straight on the 1st occasion QUEENSRYCHE checked off the heels of SAHARA GIRL. Approaching the 1st turn NIL ALL DRAW shifted out checking MILDUE. Through the 1st turn SAHARA GIRL collided heavily with MILDUE, resulting in SAHARA GIRL taking no further competitive part in the event. As a result QUEENSRYCHE and DARK CURRENT which were following were inconvenienced. Approaching the top turn MILDUE shifted in checking DARK CURRENT. Approaching the winning post DARK CURRENT and MILDUE came together.
The greyhound SAHARA GIRL was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start. Shortly after the start PARCHMENT was tightened for room between PACIFIC CHAMP and MAYWYN’S KEEPER. Out of the straight on the 1st occasion THERE SHE WAS, KAR BLU and MISS FELIX raced tight and were all unbalanced. KAR BLU raced wide through the 1st turn. MAYWYN’S COPY raced wide in the back straight. Approaching the top turn MAYWYN’S COPY shifted in tightening GARRY JACK and MISS FELIX. THERE SHE WAS and MAYWYN’S COPY made contact through the top turn.
The
greyhound KAR BLU was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 3 – Novice

MR. REALITY was slow to begin. QUICK TURTLE began awkwardly. Approaching the 1st turn MAYWYN’S YING raced in restricted room between GOOD BYE JOAN and BE ZANEY, resulting in BE ZANEY been taken wider on the track. Approaching the 1st turn MR. REALITY and QUICK TURTLE came together. Through the 1st turn GOOD BYE JOAN and MAYWYN’S YING came together. BE ZANEY raced wide down the back straight.
The greyhound GOOD BYE JOAN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 431m
THREADS, CANE D’ORO and LONE GUN all collided shortly after the start. FREDDIE FINCH shifted out forcing LONE GUN wider on the track in the back straight. ULTIMATE STAR and FREDDIE FINCH made contact entering the home straight.
The greyhound LONE GUN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade 431m
DASHING CANUTE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start LOTUS BLOSSOM, WAZZ’S FANTASY and KATE’S CRASH all came together. Rounding the 1st turn VICKI ROSE HI, NO BOSS and WAZZ’S FANTASY all bumped. Leaving the 1st turn STUART’S CHOICE and LOTUS BLOSSOM made heavy contact resulting in STUART’S CHOICE losing considerable ground. Entering the top turn DASHING CANUTE shifted out hampering NO BOSS and WAZZ’S FANTASY resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Final 520m
DIRTY DESSA and WHITE MARLIN were slow to begin. Shortly after the start HOUINDEED was tightened between SHE’S TOO HOT and LORD HOUSINGTON when LORD HOUSINGTON shifted out. Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion DON’T JOSH ME was tightened when LORD HOUSINGTON shifted in. Entering the 1st turn LORD HOUSINGTON shifted out hampering HOUINDEED and WHITE MARLIN. WHITE MARLIN raced wide in the early part of the back straight. Approaching the top turn HOUINDEED checked off the heels of DIRTY DESSA. Entering the home straight DON’T JOSH ME improved onto the heels of HOPPING HOUDINI. Entering the home straight LORD HOUSINGTON and HOUINDEED bumped continuously down the home straight.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade

Even start. Shortly after the start WINTON BURN was tightened between FULL OF ATTITUDE and FEMME JOLIE. Shortly after the start HIGH RADAR checked off the heels of FEMME JOLIE. Entering the top turn FLASH HOUDINI shifted out and bumped FLASH ZOE. Entering the top turn RUPERT was checked by FULL OF ATTITUDE. Leaving the top turn RUPERT and WINTON BURN bumped, then both greyhounds bumped again shortly after.
Race 8 – Best 8

FROSTY JAY JAY and MARLISA were best to begin. Entering the 1st turn TRAV’S FANTASY and HELLO STRANGER raced tight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade
520m
MR. HOPPINS and CORNELIA JESS were best to begin. Shortly after the start COPPER LIGHT was tightened for room between ROCKET READY and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR, both of which shifted. Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion WINDSOR was checked and lost ground when tightened between SPECIAL GIRL and ROCKET READY, both of which shifted, resulting in WINDSOR losing considerable ground. TIME IS MONEY checked off the heels of SPECIAL GIRL in the home straight.
Race 10 – 5th Grade
431m
MAYWYN WEALTH and GRAVITY WOLF were best to begin. MEG’S MAGIC was slow to begin. Leaving the 1st turn MR. TRANSPORTER shifted out forcing EARLY SUPER onto MEG’S MAGIC. Shortly after MEG’S MAGIC then shifted in making further contact with EARLY SUPER. In the back straight GOSHI improved onto the heels of FARMOR SENORITA checking this greyhound. VILVANDA raced wide down the back straight.
