The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

BOB EFFECTS was best to begin. QUEENSRYCHE and HOT LIKE SUNSET were slow to begin. YES I’M BLOND crossed from a wide position shortly after the start tightening BLACK DASH onto DEMOLITION JAZ, which in turn onto COUNTRY CYLCONE, resulting in BLACK DASH and DEMOLITION JAZ losing ground. BLACK DASH and DEMOLITION JAZ bumped on the turn into the back straight, resulting in DEMOLITION JAZ becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. QUEENSRYCHE was inconvenienced as a result. YES I’M BLOND checked off the heels of MY EYES ONLY on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. COUNTRY CYCLONE raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound YES I’M BLOND was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
SMILING FRIEDA was best to begin. DEVELOPER was slow to begin. MADAM’S FLASH’S and TEETH GRIEF bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion. TEETH GRIEF shifted out on the turn out of the front straight forcing SPRING ESTELLE to race wide. DEVELOPER raced wide on the turn into the back straight. SPRING ESTELLE checked off the heels of MADAM’S FLASH’S entering the back straight. SPRING ESTELLE checked off the heels of TEETH GRIEF on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to MADAM’S FLASH’S.
Race 3 – Novice 520m
PEPPER PRINCESS was best to begin. NURSEY WARD was slow to begin. ALLEZ DE BRAVE shifted down the track in the front straight on the 1st occasion causing ELUSIVE SPARKLE to lose ground on the turn bumping NURSEY WARD, causing this greyhound some inconvenience. MAYWYN’S YING checked across the heels of ELUSIVE SPARKLE on the turn into the home straight. HECTORMALEE and ALLEZ DE BRAVE bumped entering the home straight.
The greyhound NURSEY WARD was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 431m
ANTI DENTITE was best to begin. SWEET AS BETH and GRAND ATTITUDE were slow to begin. Shortly after the start BOGIE TOM shifted out bumping MISS HALLIUS onto MAYWYN WEALTH onto SWEET AS BETH, causing those greyhounds to become unbalanced and lose ground. GRAND ATTITUDE also suffered inconvenienced from the incident. Approaching the turn into the back straight LONE GUN shifted in resulting in BOGIE TOM checked off its heels and shifting out causing interference to ANTI DENTITE. Leaving the back straight ANTI DENTITE checked off the heels of MAYWYN WEALTH.
Stewards advised trainer SERIOUS JOY Mr. B Morris that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade 431m
YOUR DEAL, LOTUS BLOSSOM and MAGICAL GIRL were slow to begin. LARA SAINT checked across the heels of YADA YADA YADA entering the back straight.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 520m
DAINTY LASS was best to begin. PARCHMENT was slow to begin. In the front straight after the start CORNELIA JESS shifted in and DAINTY LASS shifted out, resulting in SILKY OAK, GEORGINA and MINI OREO being tightened for racing room, causing CORNELIA JESS, SILKY OAK and MINI OREO losing ground. DAINTY LASS shifted out on the turn into the back straight causing BURNELLA to race wide. CORNELIA JESS raced wide on the turn into the back straight. DAINTY LASS continued to shift wide in the back straight causing BURNELLA and CORNELIA JESS to race wide. DAINTY LASS raced wide in the home straight.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m
Even start with GLASS slow to begin. CYLONE CLIFFORD shifted in shortly after the start bumping POCAHONTAS across the heels of HOLYWOOD ROSE HI, resulting in POCAHONTAS losing ground. FYRE GAL shifted in on the turn out of the front straight bumping CYLONE CLIFFORD, resulting in some interference to POCAHONTAS. IPSWICH MELODY and POCAHONTAS bumped heavily on the turn out of the front straight resulting in IPSWICH MELODY becoming unbalanced and losing ground and POCAHONTAS racing wide. CYCLONE CLIFFORD and INTENSIVE STORM bumped entering the home straight. IPSWICH MELODY raced wide in the home straight.
The greyhound POCAHONTAS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 520m
TREBLIG BRAD raced very wide in the front straight on the 1st occasion. INDIANA RUMBLE was best to begin. TREBLIG BRAD was slow to begin. BLACK MODEL, OXLEY RUBEY and SWAP YA bumped shortly after the start. BLACK MODEL was tightened for racing room and lost ground from OXLEY RUBEY moving in on the turn out of the front straight. BLACK MODEL shifted wide entering the home straight forcing TREBLIG BRAD to race wide. TREBLIG BRAD continued to race wide in the straight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 431m
ROXY ROCKET was best to begin. ROCK ON ROLLA checked off the heels of BARRIE BOJANGLES entering the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to MEG’S MAGIC. JOHN SNOW raced wide on the turn into the back straight.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
NO BOSS was best to begin. WALLY’S WAY was slow to begin. WALLY’S WAY and WALLY WHO CALLS bumped on the turn into the back straight, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced. ARK UP checked across the heels of NO BOSS on the turn into the back straight. WINNING NOVA raced wide into the back straight. CANE D’ORO and WALLY WHO CALLS bumped in the front straight resulting in WALLY’S WAY checking across the heels of CANE D’ORO.
