GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

MAYEYN MACEY was best to begin.  BENTU BABE and YOU THERE JOAN were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start MAYWYN HEAPS shifted in bumping STOLE MY HEART resulting in that greyhound becoming unbalanced and shifting in causing interference to BENTU BABE.  YOU THERE JOAN raced wide into the back straight.  STOLE MY HEART checked off the heels of MAYWYN HEAPS and lost ground entering the back straight.  YOU THERE JOAN and STOLE MY HEART raced very wide into and down the home straight.  STOLE MY HEART and MAYWYN HEAPS bumped shortly before the finishing line.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Final 407m

Even start with FULL BAMQUIN and GO FOR HOME slow to begin.  BAD RILEY checked off the heels of BAILEY’S SPIRIT and lost ground shortly after the start.  HOPEFUL JACK shifted in on the turn into the back straight tightening FARMOR MAYHEM onto AMY’E ELITE who lost ground causing interference to ALMOST DODGY who lost considerable ground.  ALMOST DODGY raced wide on the turn into the home straight.  FULL BAMQUIN and BAD RILEY raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound ALMOST DODGY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 407m

EBONY SECRET was best to begin.  FOCUS ME checked off the heels of PURELY PENNY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  EBONY SECRET and GLENOIT bumped on the turn into the back straight.  FARMOR CONFUSION and PURELY PENNY bumped entering the back straight resulting in PURELY PENNY losing some ground.  PURELY PENNY checked off the heels of FARMOR CONFUSION and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to FOCUS ME.  MISS OLYMPIA, FOCUS ME and COUNTRY CYCLONE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound FARMOR CONFUSION was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – 0 – 3 Wins 510m

OVIE’S RAGING was best to begin.  LOCH BEN was slow to begin.  HELL’S ENEMY shifted in on the turn into the back straight tightening TUKULA onto PREMIER BEAR, onto HER FAULT.  All greyhounds became unbalanced and lost ground.  HER FAULT checked off the heels of PREMIER BEAR and lost ground entering the back straight.  PREMIER BEAR checked off the heels of SUPER LUIGI in the back straight, resulting in PREMIER BEAR racing wide.  TUKULA checked off the heels of PREMIER BEAR and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in interference to HER FAULT and HELL’S ENEMY.  PRINCESS TOUCH checked across the heels of OVIE’S RAGING on the turn into the front straight.  SUPER LUIGI raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 407m

ROCKY BE GOOD was best to begin.  ELUSIVE STRIKE and NOT WORTH IT were slow to begin.  ROCKY BE GOOD crossed from a wide position shortly after the start tightening HER’S NOT HIS onto MAGIC KITCHEN onto NOT WORTH IT in onto MAYWYN’S POPPER, onto GUNSPEED, resulting in these 4 greyhounds being checked and losing ground.  HER’S NOT HIS checked off the heels of HABANA FLEX on the turn into the back straight.  NOT WORTH IT and ELUSIVE STRIKE bumped entering the back straight resulting in NOT WORTH IT losing ground.  MAGIC KITCHEN checked off the heels of NOT WORTH IT and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MAYWYN’S POPPER checked across the heels of ELUSIVE STRIKE on the turn into the home straight resulting in MAYWYN’S POPPER racing wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MAGIC KITCHEN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound HER’S NOT HIS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 407m

Even start with WHITE MARLIN marginally slow to begin.  CORNELIA JESS and EL KHOBAR bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  MAJESTIC SEINE raced wide on the turn out of the front straight.  TOUCH OF CAJUN and MAJESTICE SEINE bumped on the turn into the home straight, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 407m

Even start.  CAUSEWAY CHARLIE checked across the heels of WINNING NOVA shortly after the start.  MOSS WIN QUEEN checked off the heels of SHE’S GOT ISSUES and lost some ground on the turn out of the front straight.  MOSS WIN QUEEN raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 407m

PEARLS ANGEL was best to begin.  LOTUS BLOSSOM and VICKI ROSE HI bumped shortly after the start.  SLICK HEIDI and VICKI ROSE HI bumped on the turn into the back straight, resulting in SLICK HEIDI shifting out and checking off the heels of SNOWBALL BOB, resulting in interference to ZIPPING MANI.  ZIPPING MANI checked off the heels of VICKI ROSE HI on the turn out of the back straight resulting in ZIPPING MANI losing considerable ground.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 407m

ULTIMATE STAR was best to begin.  SECRET OCTANE was slow to begin.  TOURMALINE and QUE SERA bumped on the turn into the back straight, resulting in interference to GOD ONLY KNOWS and SO SWANKY.  GOD ONLY KNOWS raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound GOD ONLY KNOWS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 407m

LOAD ME UP and BARCELLA were best to begin.  KAR BLU and NOT LIKE TOMMY were slow to begin.  BARCELLA shifted in on the turn after the start tightening LOAD ME UP in onto NEAT ALRIGHT, resulting in these greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground, causing interference to VILVANDA and BEC’S SECRET.  KAR BLU raced wide on the turn into the back straight.  VILVANDA shifted wide on the turn into the home straight forcing LOAD ME UP to race wide.

 

The greyhound BONGANI was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
