The greyhound RUBY’S IN YELLOW performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.00.
The greyhound SIZE WON’T MATTER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.58.
The greyhound CRAZY VIXON performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.44 and is now cleared to nominate
Even start with NAT MAN slowly away. Entering the back straight MIDNIGHT HUNTER, TECHNO LEGEND and SISTA TASHA all collided. In the back straight TECHNO LEGEND and SISTA TASHA collided causing TECHNO LEGEND to drop back sharply and take no further competitive part in the event. Entering the home straight NAN’S NIRO and PARIS FRANCE collided. In the home straight MIDNIGHT HUNTER was wide.
The greyhound TECHNO LEGEND was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
STRAIT ATE and MURSLEY BOUNCER were best to begin with SMASHNIAK FIVE slowly away. In the back straight SMASHNIAK FIVE was wide. Entering the top turn STRAIT ATE and MURSLEY BOUNCER collided racing wide. Shortly after SO FUNNY turned its head outwards and marred STRAIT ATE and MURSLEY BOUNCER forcing HAPPY GEORGE wide. Entering the home straight SO FUNNY and JOKE’S ON ME collided.
The greyhound MURSLEY BOUNCER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

greyhound STRAIT ATE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Lennon that the greyhound SO FUNNY would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.
Race 3 – Novice

PRINCESS TOUCH and PLEASE REFRAIN were best to begin with RYLI’S DREAMER and BEEJAY MCROCKET slowly away. Entering the turn into the back straight GOOD BYE JOAN checked off the heels of BEEJAY MCROCKET. In the back straight RYLI’S DREAMER was wide. Entering the top turn BEEJAY MCROCKET checked off the heels of HELLO JOAN. In the home straight MOSS WIN QUEEN was wide.
The greyhound BEEJAY MCROCKET was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned trainer Mr. N Russell in regards to the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Russell explained he was disappointed with the run and the greyhound has to be near the lead.
Race 4 – Novice

Even start with BERNIE CHEE and VILVANDA slowly away. Entering the back straight KIOWA KING checked off the heels of RYLI’S RAMBO. In the back straight KIKEM SPRINGER and KAR BLU collided forcing KAR BLU wide in the back straight. Approaching the turn out of the back straight KIOWA KING and VILVANDA collided causing KIOWA KING to take no further competitive part in the event. On the top turn and home straight KIKEM SPRINGER was wide.
The greyhound KIOWA KING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade Heat 1 431m
Even start with KING’S SON slowly away. Soon after the start RYLEE’S RING IN stumbled and took no further competitive part in the event. Entering the back straight SPRITE AND POWER collided with GEARS OF WAR causing SPRITE AND POWER to fall. In the back straight RYLEE’S RING IN was wide. On the top turn and home straight RYLEE’S RING IN was wide.
The greyhound SPRITE AND POWER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Grade Heat 2 431m
ALEEAH JET and RYLI’S RANGA were best to begin with YA ACE YA and DIRTY DESSA slowly away. Soon after the start ALEEAH JET and RYLI’SR RANGA collided. Entering the back straight STRONG STANLEY and DIRTY DESSA collided. In the back straight DIRTY DESSA was wide. In the home straight RADLEY’S JACKPOT and RYLI’S RANGA were wide.

DIAMOND OSPREY and SO SWANKY were best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start DIAMOND OSPREY, BOGIE FLYER and ROCKET TRACEY collided. Entering the back straight ELITE DESSA and MR. TRANSPORTER collided. Entering the home straight MR. TRANSPORTER and SKYE BRIDGE collided.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final

LOAD ME UP was best to begin with JESS NIRO slowly away. Soon after the start SIG SAUER and FEMME JOLIE collided. Entering the turn into the back straight FEMME JOLIE and ACE CHARMER collided checking DEEP DESPAIR. On the top turn ACE CHARMER was wide and in the home straight was wide. Approaching the finishing line JESS NIRO and DEEP DESPAIR collided.
Race 9 – 4/5th Grade

Even start with BIG RED DEVIL slowly away. Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion BIG YELLOW TAXI and BIG RED DEVIL collided forcing BIG RED DEVIL wide, causing that greyhound to take no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight BIG RED DEVIL was wide. In the home straight PRINCE FREDERICK and BIG RED DEVIL were wide.
The greyhound BIG RED DEVIL was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
