The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 1 WEST MEAD BLUE

The greyhound SHAYLOR JAIME performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.94.
The greyhound LA MADRINA performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.83.
BLACK STREET BOY, MONTEIRO and WHAT’S FOREVER were best to begin. WEST MEAD BLUE and TO BIRDIES were slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight MUGGED ON TOUR switched across the heels of BUN’S GUNS causing it to lose momentum. In the back straight BUN’S GUNS clipped the heels of MUGGED ON TOUR and lost some ground. Approaching the turn out of the back straight WEST MEAD BLUE clipped the heels of MONTEIRO and lost some ground. WEST MEAD BLUE fell shortly after the finish.
The greyhound WEST MEAD BLUE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start. Shortly after the start SMASHNIAK MARS shifted out and contacted ZARA GIRL causing that greyhound to be checked which then in turn checked LORRY DRYVA, causing it to shift out and make contact with OKA’S ANGEL. As a consequence OKA’S ANGEL shifted out and made heavy contact with FEAR LADY causing that greyhound to lose considerable ground. In the back straight LORRY DRYVA contacted the heels of ZARA GIRL causing ZARA GIRL to be checked and lose considerable ground.
Race 3 – Maiden Final 431m
SPLIT SYSTEM was very slow to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight EFFIE ROSE HI and LEADFOOT TANNER came together resulting in LEADFOOT TANNER being checked and losing some ground.
Race 4 – Novice 431m
DEIJA MAGIC was best to begin. The remainder were evenly away. BOLD AS BRASH raced wide in the back straight. PERFECT POUT raced wide rounding the home turn and in the run to the finish.
Race 5 – Novice 431m
Even start with SHE’S ALL BLONDE slow to begin. Shortly after the start MIA MYA MO and TWO BEERS came together which resulted in RYLI’S RAMBO being checked. Approaching the turn into the back straight KNOCKA’S ASSET and UNO THE DEAL came together, resulting in UNO THE DEAL being checked and losing momentum. COOGAN’S REGRET raced wide in the back straight. MIA MYA MO raced wide in the front straight.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 431m
Even start. Approaching the turn into the back straight KNOCK HER DOWN shifted out at the same time ZAFONIC’S LADY shifted in, which resulted in ANTI DENTITE, DAYSEAS DOLLY and EASY OFF all being tightened for room.
Race 7 – Open Final 431m
PETITE FOX and MINER’S MOSS were best to begin. Shortly after the start LINE UP BUOYS shifted in causing a tightening to BIG DAC, BLACKJACK GENT, GLORIA TRICK and ZIPPING MANI, which resulted in ZIPPING MANI and GLORIA TRICK losing considerable ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight MINER’S MOSS shifted in. PETITE FOX contacted the heels of MINER’S MOSS when that greyhound crossed entering the back straight, which resulted in PETITE FOX losing some ground.
Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 520m
Even start with CAPTAIN CES slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn ARISTOTLE shifted in and tightened SHANIA SIND causing that greyhound to lose some ground. Rounding the 1st turn TEMNICK shifted out making contact with SHANIA SIND and CAPTAIN CES causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the run to the finish SPECIAL GIRL made contact with the heels of ARISTOTLE causing ARISTOTLE to lose momentum.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 431m
TIME IS MONEY was slow to begin. In the back straight MISS HALLIUS contacted the heels of RYLI’S RANGA and lost some ground. In the run to the finish MISS HALLIUS contacted the heels of SURF HONOUR TEAR and lost some ground.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
MR. MARAUDER was best to begin. GOLD PLATED was slow to begin. Shortly after the start FARMOR MAYHEM and SHAYLOR NORRIS were tightened for racing room between WILDASH REV and FOUR EXCEPTIONAL, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight CLASSIC TYCOON and WILDASH REV came together resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground. Entering the back straight FOUR EXCEPTIONAL shifted in and tightened the racing room of SHAYLOR NORRIS, causing that greyhound to lose considerable ground. Leaving the back straight WILDASH REV shifted in making contact with CLASSIC TYCOON causing this greyhound to lose ground. GOLD PLATED raced wide rounding the home turn and in the run to the finish.
