GENERAL

 

The greyhound JASMINE HOLLY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.32 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.

 

The greyhound TEARS FOR BUD performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.96 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks after 10 August 2015.

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

SNUBBING UNIT was best to begin.  WINK ANNA NOD was slow to begin.  FOXY JOKER was also slow to begin.  SNUBBING UNIT crossed from a wide position shortly after the start resulting in interference to DASHING CHARGER, ELITE COMANDO, TEETH GRIEF and HOBO JANE all losing considerable ground as a result.  FOXY JOKER checked off the heels of HOBO JANE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  WINK ANNA NOD raced wide in the home straight.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. W Usmar that the greyhound ELITE COMANDO would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 431m

SOCCER’S OFF, SKULDUGGERY and ELITE MARJ were slow to begin.  SHEZA MINI SIZE was tightened for racing room between SPLIT SYSTEM and WHAT’S FOREVER shortly after the start, resulting in SHEZA MINI SIZE losing ground and WHAT’S FOREVER becoming unbalanced.  SOCCER’S OFF checked off the heels of WHAT’S FOREVER on the turn into the back straight.  SHEZA MINI SIZE checked off the heels of ELITE MARJ on the turn into the back straight resulting in SHEZA MINI SIZE losing ground and racing wide.  SPLIT SYSTEM checked off the heels of SITELLA and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SKULDUGGERY raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

SHELIA DOOLEY was best to begin.  GUNNADOO RAIDER shifted out across the heels of URBAN ENFORCER on the turn into the back straight bumping SHE’S ALL BLONDE out onto WOODY’S RETURN, onto OUR ELITE, out onto HYPNOTIZED, resulting in these 4 greyhounds being severely checked and losing considerable ground.  URBAN ENFORCER checked across the heels of SHELIA DOOLEY on the turn into the back straight resulting in SHELIA DOOLEY contacting SHE’S ALL BLONDE who in turn bumped WOODY’S RETURN out onto OUR ELITE, resulting in OUR ELITE and WOODY’S RETURN being severely checked and losing considerable ground.  HYPNOTIZED checked across the heels of GUNNADOO RAIDER on the turn into the front straight.  BLACK STREET BOY and WOODY’S RETURN raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound WOODY’S RETURN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

BONTEMPELLI was best to begin.  BONTEMPELLI and TARA MARRIE bumped on the turn into the back straight.  PURELY PENNY checked off the heels of KIKEM SPRINGER and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back straight.  MR. REALITY checked across the heels of TARA MARRIE on the turn into the front straight.  KIKEM SPRINGER raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound PURELY PENNY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind leg and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 520m

MAYWYN’S COPY was best to begin.  KAR BLU, SHIVERANCE and SPRING ESTELLE were marginally slow to begin.  COOGAN’S REGRET shifted out shortly after the start bumping DEEP DESPAIR.  COOGAN’S REGRET continued to shift out forcing BARCELLA wide onto BEAT THE BULLET who was also forced to race wide.  SHIVERANCE shifted in on the turn out of the front straight bumping heavily with KAR BLU, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground.  BARCELLA and KAR BLU bumped on the turn into the front straight.  COOGAN’S REGRET raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound KAR BLUE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SHIVERANCE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 520m

Even start with ARISTOTLE slow to begin.  OUT WEST was tightened for racing room between SPRING FIRECHIEF and JUST LIKE TINA and lost ground in the front straight on the 1st occasion.  SPRING FIRECHIEF shifted in on the turn out of the front straight tightening TWICE AS NICE onto SLEEPY MIME, resulting in both these greyhounds losing considerable ground.  TWICE AS NICE also became unbalanced and shifted out bumping JUST LIKE TINA onto OUT WEST, resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground.  OUT WEST raced very wide on the turn out of the front straight into the back straight as a result of the previous interference.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade Final 431m

MY DIEGO was best to begin.  VICKI ROSE HI shifted in shortly after the start tightening FULL OF ATTITUDE down onto SPRING BLUESTONE, onto BOUNCER BENZ, in turn onto ZIPPING MANI, resulting in ZIPPING MANI and BOUNCER BENZ losing ground.  ZIPPING MANI lost ground sharply in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the race.  BOUNCER BENZ raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound ZIPPING MANI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Heat 1 431m

BOGIE TOM was best to begin.  BAIDEN ROSE HI was marginally slow to begin.  BAIDEN ROSE HI and ROCK ON ROLLA bumped shortly after the start.  PRATER’S PROBLEM checked off the heels of ROCK ON ROLLA and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight.  SHAYLOR PAIGE checked off the heels of ROCK ON ROLLA and lost ground just prior to entering the back straight.  NEVER ENDS checked off the heels of ROCK ON ROLLA and lost ground approaching the turn out of the back straight.  BAIDEN ROSE HI checked off the heels of NEVER ENDS and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  PRATER’S PROBLEM and SHAYLOR PAIGE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 2 431m

OAKEY PARK was best to begin.  PRATER’S FORTUNE and URBAN STREET bumped entering the turn into the back straight.  PRINCESS TOUCH shifted out sharply making contact with TIA TWO.  PRATER’S FORTUNE raced onto the heels of INSIDE PASS on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  BASHFUL BABE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Hazelgrove that the greyhound PRINCESS TOUCH would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 3 431m

QUE SERA was best to begin.  DIRTY DESSA and FEAR THE RECALL were slow to begin.  BANJO BABE shifted in on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to IPSWICH MELODY who lost ground causing interference to GUNNER MAGIC who also lost ground.  ANTI DENTITE checked off the heels of BIG YELLOW TAXI on the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  DIRTY DESSA checked off the heels of BIG YELLOW TAXI and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  GUNNER MAGIC checked across the heels of BANJO BABE on the turn into the home straight.  QUE SERA, FEAR THE RECALL and IPSWICH MELODY raced wide in the home straight.
