The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 3 IN THE BAZZA

The greyhound STEEL JUNGLE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.35.
The greyhound METAL JACKET performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.86.
The greyhound READY MADE SIZE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.14 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
TABBERER missed the start SCORCHING CORNER was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn JULIE SIZE, ROMELDA and KASEY’S TURBO were all tight resulting in ROMELDA and KASEY’S TURBO losing ground. Out of the 1st turn TABBERER checked off the heels of JULIE SIZE and from that point JULIE SIZE raced wide for the majority. Out of the back straight IMMORTAL MARY improved onto the heels of CHLOE’S IMAGE resulting in CHLOE’S IMAGE, IMMORTAL MARY and KASEY’S TURBO all being checked.
DRAGON DUK was the slowest to begin. Shortly after the start AVONDALE ALPHA shifted out abruptly bumping ONE ZERO SEVEN. Through the 1st turn ITSA PATCHY, AVONDALE ALPHA and ONE ZERO SEVEN all collided resulting in AVONDALE ALPHA being checked and shifting out making heavy contact with MAYWYN IF LUCKY, resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.
Race 3 – Maiden Final 431m
OUR MAGIC BOY was best to begin and IN THE BAZZA was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn PAW PERFORMER, FABULOUS LENY and FABULOUS WAZ raced tight resulting in FABULOUS WAZ losing ground. Into the back straight IN THE BAZZA was checked off the heels of FABULOUS LENY and became unbalanced. Rounding the home turn IN THE BAZZA made contact with the heels of SWEET MANTRA resulting in that greyhound falling.
The greyhound IN THE BAZZA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – Novice 431m
Even start. Through the 1st turn SMASH TO FEAR, PEBBLE BAY and SNUBBING UNIT were all tight resulting in PEBBLE BAY falling and PEPE LEPEW which was following to be checked. In the back straight SNUBBING UNIT improved onto the heels of FEAR OF JUDY, resulting in FEAR OF JUDY to lose ground. Out of back straight PEPE LEPEW improved onto the heels of FEAR OF JUDY, resulting in FEAR OF JUDY losing ground.
The greyhound PEBBLE BAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – 4/5th
Grade Heat 1 520m
GIGGLING BEACH, MISS JACKPOT and NOT LIKE TOMMY were slowest to begin. Shortly after MISS JACKPOT and NOT LIKE TOMMY were tightened for room. Through the 1st turn MISS JACKPOT was checked from the heels and lost ground. Rounding the home turn MINNIE IMPACT and SPRING BLUESTONE bumped resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.
Race 6 - /5th
Grade Heat 2 520m
SPRING SHANGHAI, FAR FROM FEAR and SPRITELY CHARM were all slowest to begin. SPRING MILLIE and EL CHAD raced wide through the 1st turn. Leaving the back straight SPRING MILLIE shifted in tightening the running of MAGIC KITCHEN and EL CHAD, resulting in MAGIC KITCHEN and EL CHAD both losing ground.
Race 7 – /5th
Grade Heat 3 520m
Even start. Leaving the back straight SPRING BEAUTY was checked off the heels of BRAGA MCCOY. RYLEE’S ROULETTE which was following was inconvenienced and forced wide from that point.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 520m
GUN LEGACY was slow to begin. Out of the 1st turn GUN LEGACY improved onto the heels of another runner and lost ground. Shortly after EMBELLISH was bumped and became unbalanced. Out of the 1st turn GUN LEGACY improved onto the heels of EMBELLISH and lost ground.
Race 9 – 4/5th Grade 431m
MAURY SPIRIT and ARK UP were best to begin. Shortly after the start TUKULA was tightened for room and lost ground. DASHING CANUTE raced wide throughout.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
Even start. Through the 1st turn ROCKY BENZ was tightened for room and lost ground. In the back straight ROCKY BENZ was checked and lost ground. ELUSIVE FUSION was caught wide and raced wide for the majority of the event.

STEWARD IN CHARGE
