TWO bumped RAISE ‘EM UP, which resulted in PARTY FOR TWO losing momentum. Approaching the turn into the back straight
KITBOOLOU ADAM was checked for racing room and lost ground. Near the turn into the back straight RAISE
‘EM UP and ASHES bumped causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose
momentum. Leaving the back straight GO
BLACK BIDDY, PARTY FOR TWO and ASHES all raced tight causing each greyhound to
be checked and lose ground.
MAKE THE MOST and MIRINDA were best to begin. Leaving the back straight KITBOOLOU BULLSI clipped the heels of MAKE TH EMOST causing both greyhounds to be checked.
Race 3 – Maiden Final 431m
ONE ZERO SEVEN and PENNYLESS were best to begin. SCORCHING CORNER and DRAGON DUK were slow out. Shortly after the start JULIE SIZE, ITSA PATCHY and BATTLE READY all raced tight. Approaching the turn into the back straight JULIE SIZE and ITSA PATCHY bumped causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. PENNYLESS raced wide in the back straight.
Race 4 – Novice 431m
SUMMER GLORY and SNUBBING UNIT were best to begin. Shortly after the start SCAR’S BROTHER, MAYWYN MOOLA and MAYWYN NEVER raced tight. Shortly afterwards SCAR’S BROTHER and MAYWYN MOOLA collided causing both greyhounds to be checked. Approaching the turn into the back straight FOCUS ME was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight SNUBBING UNIT was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. MAYWYN MOOLA and MAYWYN NEVER raced wide in the back straight and again in the run to the finish.
The greyhound SUMMER GLORY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. W Nicholls that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.
Race 5 – 5th

HARA’S SIZZLE was best to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight SPRING RICKY and SHAYLOR NORRIS bumped. Rounding the turn into the back straight VILVANDA and GARRANGAY DUK came together resulting in both greyhounds being checked and lose ground. BLUE HOUDINI and VILVANDA raced wide in the back straight. Leaving the back straight SPRING RICKY was checked for racing room and lost some ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight HE’S A HUNTER and SHAYLOR NORRIS bumped.
The greyhound SPRING RICKY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Heat 1 520m
Even start. Rounding the turn out of the front straight DON’T DOUBT ME was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight SUITE ALEXIS and MAYWYN WILL WIN bumped causing both greyhounds to be checked.
The
greyhound GLORIOUS WINTER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to
the chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 7 – 5th
Grade Heat 1 520m
Even start. Shortly after the start MISS GLENREAGH and STEALTH FIGHTER were tightened for racing room. Leaving the front straight HYPNOTIZED and FABULOUS BILL collided resulting in both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Rounding the turn into the back straight PASSIVE PROTEST and HER’S NOT HIS came together. Entering the back straight STEALTH FIGHTER contacted the heels of PASSIVE PROTEST and lost some ground.
The greyhound STEALTH FIGHTER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – 4/5th
Grade 520m
SPRING SHANGHAI and GLOBAL DEEJAY were best to begin. NAPALM and NOT LIKE TOMMY were slow out. Leaving the front straight NAPALM shifted out which resulted in QUEEN CLEO, SOLO MISS and FAR FROM FEAR all being checked. In the back straight NAPALM, ZAFONIC’S LADY and FAR FROM FEAR came together, resulting in ZAFONIC’S LADU and FAR FROM FEAR being checked.
Race 9 – 4/5th
Grade 431m
Even start. Shortly after the start SUNDAY SUNRISE and WILDASH WARRIOR came together. Approaching the turn into the back straight SUNDAY SUNRISE and WILDASH WARRIOR bumped causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose considerable ground. WILDASH WARRIOR raced wide in the back straight. Leaving the back straight GIFT BOX contacted the heels of LA MADRINA and shifted out resulting in it coming into heavy contact with POCAHONTAS. Both GIFT BOX and POCAHONTAS were checked and lost considerable ground. Approaching the turn into the front straight POCAHONTAS and SUNDAY SUNRISE came together causing both greyhounds to be checked.
Race 10 – 5th
Grade 431m
LONG LONG LOGAN was best to begin. Approaching the turn into the back straight KNOCKA’S ASSET and SHE’S A NIRO came together resulting in SHE’S A NIRO being checked and losing ground. Entering the back straight DOOHAN TIME brushed the running rail and lost some ground. Shortly after DOOHAN TIME clipped the heels of SHE’S A NIRO.
The greyhound DOOHAN TIME was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
