GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 431m

Even start with CYNO BIRD slowly away.  Soon after the start STEEL JUNGLE and KAMIKAZE TURTLE collided.  Entering the back straight STEEL JUNGLE checked off the heels of KAMIKAZE TURTLE.  Approaching the turn into the home straight ALISHKA hit the running rail and came out and checked STEEL JUNGLE.  In the home straight STEEL JUNGLE and ALISHKA were racing tight and bumping.

 

The greyhound ALISHKA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the chest muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 431m

COOL VILLAGE and MARINDA were best to begin with STIGMATA slowly away.  Soon after the start WINDORAH JACK crossed checking CLASSY BAMQUIN who in turn checked CYNO SPOT.  Entering the back straight CLASSY BAMQUIN checked off the heels of WINDORAH JACK.  In the back straight COOL VILLAGE checked off the heels of MARINDA causing MIRANDA to shift out checking NOT ANOTHA GINGA.  Entering the turn out of the back straight NOT ANOTHA GINGA checked off the heels of WINDORAH JACK.  In the home straight COOL VILLAGE and NOT ANOTHA GINGA collided with CYNO SPOT wide.

 

The greyhound NOT ANOTHA GINGA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound STIGMATA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

TRANSMEDIA and YOWIE HUNTER were best to begin with KITBOOLOU ADAM slowly away.  Soon after the start WITCHES RICHERS, CHARMING GIRL and MAYWYN MOOLA all collided.  Entering the back straight FIRE ALONG and GOOD GESTURE collided.  In the back straight FIRE ALONG was wide.  In the home straight FIRE ALONG was wide.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

BOMBAY ROLLER and ANTI AMIGO were best to begin with WEST MEAD BLUE and SCORCNING CORNER slowly away.  Entering the turn into the back straight WEST MEAD BLUE and SCORCHING CORNER collided.  In the back straight MAYWYN NEVER was wide.  In the home straight MAYWYN NEVER was wide.

 

Race 5 – Maiden Final 431m

ONE ZERO SEVEN was best to begin with METAL JACKET slowly away.  Soon after the start META JACKET and MY PEN LI collided.  Entering the back straight MY PEN LI and METAL JACKET collided.  Entering the top turn MAYWYN IF LUCKY checked off the heels of HAZY GAZE causing HAZE GAZE to check MY PEN LI.  Entering the home straight METAL JACKET and MAYWYN IF LUCKY collided causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide in the home straight.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 431m

ULTIMATE STAR and MISTER SISTER were best to begin with GUNNADOO RAIDER slowly away.  Soon after the start MIDNIGHT HUNTER and SPRING DODGER collided.  Entering the back straight CARTEL QUEEN checked off the heels of MISTER SISTER.  In the back straight SPRING DODGER was wide.  Entering the turn into the home straight GAGAN NANCY ran out turned its head outwards and marred ULTIMATE STAR with MISTER SISTER and SPRING DODGER colliding.

 

Stewards advised trainer Ms. N Fertch that the greyhound GAGAN NANCY would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade 520m

MY EYES ONLY and HARNEY were best to begin with SPRING BEAUTY slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight TORQUE FLIGHT stumbled and faltered.  On the turn out of the home straight HARNEY dropped back and took no further part in the event.  In the back straight WILDASH TAPPER was wide.  Entering the home straight ZARA GIRL checked off the heels of TORQUE FLIGHT causing ZARA GIRL to fall.

 

The greyhound HARNEY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.

 

The greyhound ZARA GIRL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade Final 520m

TOBIAS RUMBLE and BARCELLA were best to begin with SPRING FIRECHIEF and SPRING MILLIE slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight SPRING FIRECHIEF and MARLUCA collided.  In the back straight ALPHA ADONIS was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight OXLEY RUBEY checked off the heels of SPRING BLITZ causing SPRING BLITZ to fall checking SPRING MILLIE who in turn fell.  In the home straight SPRING FIRECHIEF was wide.

 

The greyhound SPRING BLITZ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Race 9 – 4/5th Grade 431m

FALSH REALITY was best to begin with ITALIAN MAGIC and TRENTY’S ROSE slowly away.  Soon after the start SPRING RAYMOND, SPRING BLUESTONE and BIG RED DEVIL all collided.  Entering the back straight SPRING RAYMOND and TRENTY’S ROSE collided causing SPRING RAYMOND to check BIG RED DEVIL.  Entering the top turn TRENTY’S ROSE checked off the heels of HARA’S SIZZLE.  Entering the home straight BIG RED DEVIL and ITALIAN MAGIC collided.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m

IMA SUAREZ was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start MR. HOPPINS, HARA’S ANNIE and SNOWBALL BAZZA all collided.  Entering the back straight HARA’S ANNIE and SNOWBALL BAZZA collided causing SNOWBALL BAZZA to check PREMIER BEAR.  Entering the top turn IMA SUAREZ checked off the heels of WILD ELITE.  Entering the home straight MR. HOPPINS and GRAVITY WOLF collided causing GRAVITY WOLF to check WILD ELITE.
