The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

GO FOR HOME and PROMISES BLUE were slowest to begin.  Through the 1st turn CLASSY BAMQUIN, JAYMIE’S REVENGE, GO BLACK BIDDY, ROCKET’S ANGEL and TIPPETT AND RUN all raced tight resulting in JAYMIE’S REVENGE, GO BLACK BIDDY, ROCKET’S ANGEL and TIPPETT AND RUN all becoming unbalanced and losing their positions.  PROMISES BLUE raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 431m

YOU MAYBE RIGHT was best to begin and KITBOOLOU BULLSI and JACK AND JILL were slowest to begin.  TWICE COOKED and KITBOOLOR PRETTY both raced wide for the majority of the event.  Rounding the home turn SNOW RUNNER was tightened for room.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

KITBOOLOU ADAM, FAMOUS FOR FUN and MAGIC MINSTREL were all slow to begin.  Leaving the 1st turn GALLANTRY was severely checked.  FAMOUS FOR FUN, HECTORMALEE and SNUBBING UNIT which were all following were all checked and forced wider at that point.  FAMOUS FOR FUN raced wide throughout.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

SPRING BIG IRON was slow to begin.  Shortly after QUEEN OF SHOW was tightened becoming unbalanced.  Into the 1st turn TECHNO LEGEND was checked from heels and lost ground.  Into the back straight DASHING CHARGER shifted out making contact with PRIM AND PRIZZY resulting in both greyhounds losing their position.  Approaching the back turn SPRING BIG IRON shifted in and made contact with OIDOS EXTRANOS resulting in both greyhounds losing significant ground.  QUEEN OF SHOW and SCAR’S BROTHER which were following were inconvenienced.  Rounding the home turn TECHNO LEGEND was checked off heels.  QUEEN OF SHOW raced wide throughout.

 

The greyhound OIDOS EXTRANOS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – 4/5th Grade Heat 1 431m

KING SIZED, PREMIER BEAR, EDGE ‘EM OUT and ANNIE ELLEN were all slow to begin.  Through the 1st turn SLAYER RETURN was tightened for room.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced.  Approaching the back turn HOT LIKE SUNSET and KING SIZED raced tight resulting in both losing ground.  Over the concluding stages SLAYER RETURN and FLASH ZOE bumped and became unbalanced.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade Heat 2 431m

MAYWYN ZILCH were best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn SPRING IT ON and RAZEN TOAST bumped, resulting in both becoming unbalanced.  Into the 1st turn there was general tightening between MALLOURY QUEEN, TARA MARRIE and HARA’S SAMUEL.  TRULY UNIQUE which was racing to the outside was bumping into the running line of LORIAN ADITI resulting in LORIAN ADITI losing ground.  Leaving the 1st turn SPRING IT ON improved onto heels and was inconvenienced.  HARA’S SAMUEL and RAZEN TOAST both raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 520m

FAR FROM FEAR was best to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn ALPHA MIMOS was tightened and checked off heels losing its position.  Shortly after MAXIMUS AURELIUS clipped heels and fell.  FAR FROM FEAR, ALPHA MIMOS, MAYWYN’S COPY and MR. REALITY which were following were all severely checked and forced wider and all lost considerable ground.

 

The greyhound MAXIMUS AURELIUS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 431m

Even start.  Through the 1st turn DASHING DIME was bumped across the running line of MR. HOPPINS and checked losing ground.  MR. HOPPINS and HOBO JANE were also inconvenienced in this incident.  Approaching the back turn FEAR ZAFLAMES was severely checked and lost ground.  FEAR ZAFLAMES, DASHING DIME and HOBO JANE all raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

The greyhound FEAR ZAFLAMES was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – 4/5th Grade Heat 3 431m

ARABIAN MELODY and MAGICAL YESSAM were both slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn COST A QUID was checked off heels and MAGIC IT UP became unbalanced.  MAGIC IT UP and MR. MARAUDER raced wide the majority.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade Final 431m

MISS SHADOW and MERMAID LANE were both slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn FEMME JOLIE was tightened for room and lost ground.
