GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

FULL BAMQUIN was best to begin.  DANGEROUS BEAUTY and TABBERER were marginally slow to begin.  ELITE BLUE BOY was slow to begin.  ROSCO BANG BANG checked off the heels of BACK TO BUSINESS and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to SLAINTE.  DANGEROUS BEAUTY checked off the heels of SLAINTE and became unbalanced and checked across the heels of TABBERER on the turn into the back straight.  ELITE BLUE BOY shifted out entering the back straight resulting in SLAINTE checking across its heels and losing ground.  FULL BAMQUIN checked off the heels of HANNAHA LLEN and lost ground entering the back straight.  FULL BAMQUIN raced wide in the front straight.

 

The greyhound DANGEROUS BEAUTY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

The greyhound FULL BAMQUIN was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 1 520m

Even start with CYNO MIRAGE slow to begin.  KAMIKAZE TURTLE was slow into stride as the start was effected.  CYNO ROSE and KAMIKAZE TURTLE bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  PENNYLESS raced wide in the back straight forcing MCCAW MCCAW to race wide.

 

The greyhound KAMIKAZE TURTLE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Heat 2 520m

VELOCITY MYSTIC was best to begin.  VELOCITY MYSTIC crossed from a wide position shortly after the start resulting in the entire field with the exception of MADE TO RAINE and GIFTED ANGEL being tightened and losing ground.  RYAN ROAD checked off the heels of GIFTED ANGEL and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight.  GO BLACK BIDDY and GIFTED ANGEL bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to RYAN ROAD.  CYNO SNIP checked off the heels of GIFTED ANGEL and lost ground entering the back straight.  MADE TO RAINE and GIFTED ANGEL bumped entering the turn out of the front straight.  GO BLACK BIDDY and HAZY GAZE bumped in the back straight.  YOUNG DALLAS raced wide in the back straight.  CYNO SNIP raced wide in the home straight.  RYAN ROAD and YOUNG DALLAS bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

Even start with MAYWYN NEVER slow to begin.  VENETIAN RESULTS shifted in shortly after the start bumping FOCUS ME in onto MY MATE LING, resulting in both those greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MAYWYN MOOLA checked off the heels of BAGO BETSY and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  MAYWYN MOOLA became unbalanced, shifted out bumping VENETIAN RESULTS onto SCAR’S BROTHER, in turn caused interference to FOCUS ME resulting in SCAR’S BROTHER, VENETIAN RESULTS and FOCUS ME losing considerable ground.  MAYWYN NEVER raced very wide in the back straight.  MAYWYN MOOLA and BAGO BETSY bumped on the turn into the home straight.  MAYWYN NEVER raced very wide into and down the home straight.

 

The greyhound VENETIAN RESULTS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 5 – Novice 520m

Even start with RED RIVER ROSE marginally slow to begin.  Shortly after the start LEGACY CHIEF, CYNO BIRD and ARABELLA bumped resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  CYNO BIRD checked off the heels of LEGACY CHIEF on the turn out of the front straight resulting in CYNO BIRD becoming unbalanced, shifting out and bumping heavily into ARABELLA.  ARABELLA and CYNO BIRD lost considerable ground as a result.  LEGACY CHIEF raced wide on the turn into the back straight.

 

The greyhound CYNO BIRD was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 431m

GRAVITY WOLF was best to begin.  MISTER SISTER was tightened for racing room between GRAVITY WOLF and FARMOR MAYHEM shortly after the start.  CLASSY SPRING checked off the heels of MAX WEDGEA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  MAX WEDGEA checked off the heels of KING SIZED on the turn into the back straight, resulting in MAX WEDGE checking off the heels of KAMILAROI DUK causing interference to MISTER SISTER.  TELEX FINGERS and KAMILAROI DUK bumped entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  CLASSY SPRING chccked off the heels of MAX WEDGE and lost ground entering the back straight.  FARMOR MAYHEM was tightened for racing room entering the home straight between KING SIZED and GRAVITY WOLF.

 

The greyhound CLASSY SPRING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

Even start with PARCHMENT slow to begin.  MR. HOPPINS checked across the heels of SIDBO on the turn out of the front straight.  MINI OREO and RAZEN TOAST were tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the turn out of the front straight.  NOIR DIABLO checked off the heels of SUITE ALEXIS and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight.  NOIR DIABLO checked off the heels of MR. HOPPINS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SUITE ALEXIS and SIDBO collided on the turn out of the back straight.  NOIR DIABLO checked off the heels of SUITE ALEXIS and shifted out bumping MR. HOPPINS who fell on the turn into the front straight.

 

The greyhound MR. HOPPINS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 431m

The start of this race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate harness racing running late.

 

HEZ SO FAST was best to begin.  ARABIAN MELODY was slow to begin.  TARMAC BLACK and KING’S GEM bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in KING’S GEM becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MAYWYN ZILCHA checked off the heels of WESTERN ROSE and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  WESTERN ROSE and TARMAC BLACK bumped entering the back straight resulting in TARMAC BLACK becoming unbalanced and losing con siderable ground.  MAYWYN ZILCH and ARABIAN MELODY bumped on the turn into the front straight.  MAYWYN ZILCH checked off the heels of HABANA FLEX and lost some ground entering the front straight.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

TRANSMEDIA was best to begin.  SUNNYSIDE JAY was slow to begin.  SHADEENA checked off the heels of POCAHONTAS and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight resulting in interference to FARMOR SENOR.  GORILLA EYES, POCAHONTAS and GLOBAL DEEJAY bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in GORILLA EYES becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground and SHADEENA also losing ground.  SUNNYSIDE JAY raced wide in the back straight.  POCAHONTAS and SHADEENA bumped on the turn into the home straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade

FLASH ZOE, LONESOME DUK and ALEEAH JET were best to begin.  BAD MOON MAGIC was slow to begin.  FIERY BENZ was tightened for racing room shortly after the start and shifted out bumping FYRE GAL.  HOPPING HOUDINI shifted in and checked across the heels of FLASH ZOE on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to BAD MOON MAGIC.  BAD MOON MAGIC and FIERY BENZ bumped heavily on the turn into the back straight.  BAD MOON MAGIC checked off the heels of FYRE GAL and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  ALEEAH JET and FIERY BENZ bumped on the turn into the home straight.  FLASH ZOE checked across the heels of LONESOME DUK and lost ground in the front straight.  LONESOME DUK raced wide in the back straight.  FLASH ZOE and LONESOME DUK raced wide into the home straight.
