Even start with KAMIKAZE TURTLE slow to begin. SPRING BLONDE shifted out shortly after the start tightening MY NAME’S JEFF onto MONKEY’S UNCLE, in turn onto MCCAW MCCAW. MY NAME’S JEFF checked off the heels of MONKEY’S UNCLE on the turn out of the front straight resulting in MY NAME’S JEFF becoming unbalanced shifting out bumping MCCAW MCCAW who fell, resulting in interference to GIFTED ANGEL and KAMIKAZE TURLE. MY NAME’S JEFF also lost considerable ground as a result of the incident. SPRING BLONDE raced wide in the back straight. STIRLING BLUE checked across the heels of RAISE ‘EM UP and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight. MONKEY’S UNCLE raced wide into the front straight. SPRING BLONDE raced wide in the front straight.
The greyhound MY NAME’S JEFF was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound MCCAW MCCAW was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
WINDORAH JACK was best to begin. MAYWYN NEVER was marginally slow to begin. REFUND REQUIRED was slow to begin. WINDORAH JACK, MAYWYN NEVER and BOMBAY ROLLER came together and bumped heavily on the turn into the back straight, resulting in these 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced losing ground, causing interference to the remainder of the field with the exception of TEETH GRIEF. Shortly after MAYWYN NEVER checked off the heels of SNUBING UNIT and lost ground. MAYWYN NEVER raced wide in the back straight. WINDORAH JACK checked off the heels of SNUBBING UNIT and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. SCAR’S BROTHER and TEETH GRIEF bumped entering the front straight. MAYWYN NEVER raced wide in the front straight.
Race 3 – Novice 520m
Even start. BY GOLLY MOLLY and SHINTARO STAR bumped on the turn out of the front straight resulting in SHINTARO STAR becoming unbalanced shifting out causing interference to VELOCITY SAXA and ALPHA PLUTO. SHINTARO STAR checked off the heels of BY GOLLY MOLLY losing ground back onto CYNO ROSE, who also lost ground as a result. CYNO ROSE and SHINTARO STAR bumped in the front straight on the 1st occasion.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 431m
Even start. FLASH ZOE and MURBAH
GOLD bumped shortly after the start.
Approaching the turn into the back straight SPRING BIG IRON, MURBAY
GOLD, FLASH ZOE and THAIDAY NIGHT all came together and raced tightly into the
turn, resulting in MURBAH GOLD being checked and losing ground back onto SHELIA
DOOLEY, SOCIAL DANCER and KITBOOLOU ADAM who lost considerable ground. FLASH ZOE and SPRING BIG IRON bumped
approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in SPRING BIG IRON
losing ground. THAIDAY NIGHT and
KITBOOLOU ADAM raced wide in the back straight.
MURBAH GOLD and FLASH ZOE bumped in the front straight. FLASH ZOE and MURBAH GOLD bumped just prior
to the finish. THAIDAY NIGHT raced wide
in the front straight. SPRING BIG IRON
and SOCIAL DANCER bumped just prior to the finish line.
The greyhound SHELIA DOOLEY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 –5th
Grade Heat 1 520m
Even start with HOUDINI HI and ARABIAN MELODY marginally slow to begin. RIDES ON SCOOTER shifted in from a wide position approaching the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion bumping JUST LIKE TINA causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. OUR CHALLENGE and JUST LIKE TINA bumped on the turn out of the front straight. TELEX FINGERS shifted out on the turn out of the front straight bumping RIDES ON SCOOTER causing that greyhound to fall, resulting in interference to TAIPAN’S TIME. TELEX FINGERS and TAIPAN’S TIME raced wide on the turn into the back straight.
The greyhound RIDES ON SCOOTER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade Heat 2 520m
BLUE HOUDINI was best to begin. NAPALM was slow to begin. MAGIC FLY HIGH shifted in shortly after the start and REALITY GHOST shifted out causing tightening to SPRING BLITZ and MAYWYN’S YING, resulting in REALITY GHOST becoming unbalanced and SPRING BLITZ and MAYWYN’S YING losing ground. REALITY GHOST and SPRING BLITZ bumped on the turn out of the front straight. MAGIC FLY HIGH and PROUD AS PUNCH bumped after turning out of the front straight. SPRING BLITZ checked across the heels of REALITY GHOST and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. NAPALM improved onto the heels of BLUE HOUDINI causing NAPALM to shift out bumping CUPPA TEA KIWI who lost considerable ground as a result on the turn out of the back straight.
Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 3 520m
TRANSMEDIA was best to begin. LORRY DRYVA was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. WHAT A THURSDAY, FYRE GAL, APATITE and SPRING SHANGHAI all bumped in the front straight after the start, resulting in MURSLEY BOUNCER checking off the heels of APATITE and falling. APATITE checked off the heels of GOT THE ATTITUDE and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight. FYRE GAL and WHAT A THURSDAY bumped on the turn out of the front straight. GOT THE ATTITUDE and LORRY DRYVA bumped on the turn out of the front straight. GOT THE ATTITUDE checked off the heels of LORRY DRYVA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. LORRY DRYVA and APATITE bumped on the turn into the front straight. GOT THE ATTITUDE and WHAT A THURSDAY bumped on the turn out of the back straight. TRANSMEDIA raced wide into the front straight.
The greyhound MURSLEY BOUNCER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – Best 8 431m
SILVER WING and MWYWYN ZILCH were best to begin. BIG DAC bumped into the hindquarters of SILVER WING on the turn into the front straight resulting SILVER WING becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. FENRIR raced wide in the back straight.
The greyhound SILVER WING was vetted and found
to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for a period of 14
days.
Race 9 – 4/5th Grade 431m
INSIDE PASS was best to begin. HOPPING HOUDINI and PACIFIC CHAMP bumped shortly after the start. PACIFIC CHAMP and HOPPING HOUDINI continued to bump into the turn in the back straight causing some interference to RODGER ROSE HI. PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide in the back straight. SPRING PLANET raced wide into the front straight. PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide in the front straight.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m
LONG LONG LOGAN was best to begin. ROYAL ALBERT was slow to begin. MIRANDA ROSE HI jumped awkwardly as the start was effected. COOL CREDIT and SPRING DODGER bumped shortly after the start. GUNNER checked off the heels of QUE SERA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. MIRANDA ROSE HI checked off the heels of ROYAL ALBERT and lost considerable ground on the turn into the back straight. ROYAL ALBERT also became unbalanced and lost ground as a result. ROYAL ALBERT checked off the heels of MIRANDA ROSE HI and lost ground entering the back straight.
