The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound SUMMER GLORY performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.92 and is now cleared all tracks.

 

The greyhound SEIZED ASSET performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 431m in a time of 26.37.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 431m

RYAN ROAD, CASH EXPLOSION and IMMORTAL MARY were best to begin.  GO FOR HOME was slow out.  Shortly after the start ROSDUE GOANNA and ELITE BLUE BOY collided resulting in both greyhounds being severely checked and losing considerable ground.  GO FOR HOME was severely checked as a result of this incident.  LADY STARGAZER was hampered as a result.  ALPHA POSEIDON raced wide in the back straight.  Leaving the back straight LADY STARGAZER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  ROSDUE GOANNA raced wide rounding the home turn.  RYAN ROAD and GO FOR HOME raced wide in the run to the finish.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 431m

Even start.  HANNAH ALLEN was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start MISTER DEBONAIR, ROSCO BANG BANG and GO BLACK BIDDY all raced tight.  Leaving the back straight DASHING BOND was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 431m

RIVAL STATE and THIS TIME MADDIE were best to begin.  Shortly after the start INTERACTION, CHEEKY CHEECH and EYE SPYED YA collided, resulting in CHEEKY CHEECH and EYE SPYED YA being checked and losing ground.  Approaching the turn into the back straight EYE SPYED YA was checked and lost ground.  In the back straight DEAD END was tightened for racing room, checked off the heels of ROCKET’S ANGEL and lost ground.

 

Race 4 – Maiden Final 431m

The start of this race was delayed to allow the muzzle on SHAYLOR SAM to be replaced.

 

Even start.  Approaching the turn into the back straight DODGY DANCER checked off the heels of HEZA SIZE UP, shifted out and made contact with NORDOC MAGIC causing both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground.  Entering the back straight STEADY DRYVA was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground.  Leaving the back straight SHAYLOR SAM made contact with the heels of MADDY’S RASCAL, was hampered and lost some ground.  DODGY DANCER raced wide in the back straight and again rounding the home turn and into the front straight.

 

Race 5 – Novice 431m

MUGGED ON TOUR was best to begin.  CYNO BIRD was slow out.  Shortly after the start BOMBAY ROLLER, TEETH GRIEF and IMA PIXIE all raced tight.  Approaching the turn into the back straight BOMBAY ROLLER made heavy contact with the hindquarters of IMA PIXIE causing both greyhounds to be severely checked and lost considerable ground.  CYNO BIRD was severely checked as a result of this incident.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 431m

Even start.  Approaching the turn into the back straight GRIM CREEPER was tightened for racing room, checked and lost some ground.  Entering the back straight GRIM CREEPER checked off the heels of FLASH ZOE and was momentarily hampered.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

NOT LIKE TOMMY, SNOWBALL BAZZA, DOOGAL and GLENALLON RINGO were best to begin.  Shortly after the start BLUE HOUDINI, SPRING IT ON and BAGO BETSY raced tight causing each greyhound to be checked and lose momentum.  Approaching the turn out of the front straight SNOWBALL BAZZA stumbled and was checked as a consequence.  BAGO BETSY raced wide leaving the front straight.  GLENALLON RINGO raced wide in the back straight.

 

The greyhound TOYKO SWIFT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

TRIPUM was best to begin.  Shortly after the start PARCHMENT shifted in which resulted in SPRING FIRECHIEF, GEORGE GALLON, SHOW BOUND and SPECIAL VIRTUE being tightened, causing each greyhound to be checked to varying degrees.  GEORGE GALLON raced wide in the back straight.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 431m

It was an even start. Entering the back straight PACIFIC CHAMP and HECTORMALEE collide causing both greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPRING RAYMOND contacted the hind quarters of       ANTI AMIGO causing both greyhounds to be severally checked and lose ground.

Race 10 – 5th Grade 431m

The start of this race was delayed when LUCY BENZ proved difficult to load in the boxes, LUCY BENZ was declared to be hard to box for it’s immediate racing future. Shortly after the start LUCY BENZ, THAIDAY NIGHT and SPRING AGUSTUS all raced tight.  Approaching the turn into the back straight FUNKY TOWN, GUNNADOO RAIDER and THAIDAY NIGHT were all checked due to tight racing.  Rounding the turn into the back straight ALOTA AMY made heavy contact with the hindquarters of SPRING AGUSTUS causing both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground.  THAIDAY NIGHT raced wide in the back straight.  ALPHA MIMOS raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

The greyhound SPRING AGUSTUS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
