GENERAL

 

The greyhound MADE TO RAINE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 31.67 and is now cleared all tracks except Ipswich until after 15 January 2016.

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

Even start with ELITE BLUE BOY slow to begin.  RODMAN, GIL MARCHI and MAYWYN SENOR bumped shortly after the start resulting in RODMAN losing some ground.  MAYWN SENOR, GIL MARCHI and SHE MAYWYN bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in GIL MARCHI and SHE MAYWYN becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  ROSDUE JITTERBUG and BEAR bumped approaching the turn into the back straight, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  BEAR improved onto the heels of ELITE BLUE BOY and lost ground entering the back straight.  ROSDUE SPRITE and GIL MARCHI bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in ROSDUE SPRITE becoming unbalanced and racing wide.  ROSDUE JITTERBUG raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  ELITE BLUE BOY shifted out entering the front straight bumping ROSDUE JITTERBUG and the greyhound raced wide.  MAYWYN SENOR raced wide in the front straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 431m

JAYMIE’S REVENGE was best to begin.  NINA ROSE HI and YOUNG DALLAS bumped as the start was effected, resulting in YOUNG DALLAS shifting out bumping ROCKET’S ANGEL.  MAYWYN IF LUCKY and GO BLACK BIDDY bumped on several occasions approaching the turn into the back straight, resulting in MAYWYN IF LUCKY becoming unbalanced and bumping ROCKET’S ANGEL as a result.  NINA ROSE HI checked off the heels of SILK SCEPTRE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MAYWYN IF LUCKY and ROCKET’S ANGEL bumped on several occasions on the turn into the home straight.  YOUNG DALLAS raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MAYWYN IF LUCKY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

ZABDON PRADA was best to begin.  MOONSTONE MAGIC was slow to begin.  ZABDON PRADA knuckled over shortly after the start and bumped IRMA ADELINE.  WINDORAH JACK crossed from a wide position on the 1st turn after the start tightening FAMOUS FOR FUN onto SMASHNIAK MARS, in turn onto SHAYLOR SAM, resulting in these 3 greyhounds losing ground.  ZABDON PRADA and FAMOUS FOR FUN bumped entering the turn into the back straight resulting in ZABDON PRADA becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground.  Shortly after FAMOUS FOR FUN and MOONSTONE MAGIC bumped resulting in FAMOUS FOR FUN losing ground.

 

The greyhound ZABDON PRADA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 4 – 4/5th Grade 520m

The start of this race was delayed 2 minutes due to interstate racing.

 

WHIRLY WAY was best to begin.  FASHION ADVICE was tightened for racing room between LORRY DRYVA and GORILLA EYES, resulting in FASHION ADVICE losing ground shortly after the start.  SOUTHERN FLOSS, GORILLA EYES and LORRY DRYVA bumped approaching the turn out of the front straight resulting in GORILLA EYES losing ground.  MURSLEY BOUNCER commenced to lose ground in the front straight after the start, MURSLEY BOUNCER continued to lose ground and took no further competitive part in the race.  FASHION ADVICE checked off the heels of SOUTHERN FLOSS and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight.  GORILLA EYES checked off the heels of FASHION ADVICE and lose ground on the turn into the back straight.  GATE SLINGER raced wide in the back straight.  WHIRLY WAY bumped the running rail on the turn out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound WHIRLY WAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound MURSLEY BOUNCER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. B Harris that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

 

Race 5 – 4/5th Grade Heat 1

The start of this race was delayed 10 minutes due to mechanical problems with the lure.

 

DRAGON DANCER was best to begin.  GUNNADOO RAIDER was slow to begin.  MURBAH GOLD, PACIFIC CHAMP and SOCIAL DANCER bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in PACIFIC CHAMP losing ground back onto RODGER ROSE HI, who lost considerable ground as a result.  ZIPPING MANI suffered interference also as a result of the incident.  PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide in the back straight.  PACIFIC CHAMP and GUNNADOO RAIDER raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade Heat 2 431m

URBAN STREET was best to begin.  LEHMAN BENZ checked off the heels of URBAN STREET on the 1st turn after the start resulting in LEHMAN BENZ becoming unbalanced shifting out bumping KITBOOLOU ADAM onto QUEEN OF SHOW, in turn onto MIRANDA ROSE HI.  SMASH TO FEAR suffered interference as a result of the incident.  SPECIAL GIRL checked off the heels of PREMIER JET and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  SPECIAL GIRL and SMASH TO FEAR bumped on the turn into the home straight.  PREMIER JET and SPECIAL GIRL bumped on several occasions in the back straight resulting in both greyhounds being inconvenienced.  QUEEN OF SHOW and LEHMAN BENZ raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade Heat 3 431m

WILD ELITE was best to begin.  PREMIER VEAR and MADAM MEDUSA bumped as the start was effected.  MIGHTY OAK, MADAM MEDUSA and PREMIER BEAR bumped on the 1st turn after the start resulting in those 3 greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground causing interference to COLD HARD TRUTH.  MACADAM checked off the heels of EYES ON ME and lost ground and raced wide on the turn into the back straight.  MADAM MEDUSA checked off the heels of MIGHTY OAK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. B McNamara that the greyhound MADAM MEDUSA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade Heat 4 431m

Even start with a FYRE GAL slow to begin.  PARTY MAN, MAGIC FLY HIGH, SPRING BIG IRON and CELESTIAL SELENE all bumped approaching the 1st turn after the start, resulting in all greyhounds losing ground.  CELESTIAL SELENE checked off the heels of SCAR’S BROTHER approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing considerable ground, also causing interference to SQUIRT ROSE HI.  SQUIRT ROSE HI checked off the heels of CELESTIAL SELENE and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  CELESTIAL SELENE checked across the heels of SQUIRT ROSE HI on the turn out of the back straight.  SCAR’S BROTHER raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound FYRE GAL was vetted and found to have suffer dehydration and was stood down for a period of 5 days.

 

Race 9 – 4/5th Grade Heat 5 431m

Even start with COOL CREDIT marginally slow to begin.  TUKULA and HECTORMALEE bumped shortly after the start resulting in COOL CREDIT checking across the heels of HECTORMALEE.  KAMILAROI DUK, BIG RED DEVIL and MADAM’S FLASH’S bumped approaching the 1st turn after the start resulting in BIG RED DEVIL and MADAM’S FLASH’S becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  Shortly after GUNNER shifted down from a wide position bumping TUKULA in onto HECTORMALEE, onto BIG RED DEVIL, onto MADAM’S FLASH’S.  STORM ROSE HI and GUNNER bumped entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground and causing interference to BIG RED DEVIL.  BIG RED DEVIL raced wide in the back straight.

 

Race 10 – Masters 431m

NORTHERNETTE was best to begin with ROYAL ALBERT slow to begin.  SHIVERANCE checked off the heels of SHAYLOR JAKE and lost ground on the 1st turn after the start.  HABANA FLEX shifted in from a wide position approaching the turn into the back straight tightening SHAYLOR JAKE in onto MAL ROSE HI, in turn onto KIDATEE CROC, resulting in those greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground, causing interference to SHIVERANCE and ROYAL ALBERT.  SHAYLOR JAKE was tightened for racing room and lost ground entering the back straight.  SHIVERANCE checked off the heels of HABANA FLEX resulting in SHIVERANCE losing ground becoming unbalanced, shifting out and bumping ROYAL ALBERT.  SHIVERANCE checked off the heels of SHAYLOR JAKE and lost ground causing interference to ROYAL ALBERT entering the back straight.  MAL ROSE HI raced wide in the back straight.  MAL ROSE HI raced wide in the front straight.

 

The greyhound SHIVERANCE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
