Race 10 ZIPPING MANI Injured in running, off side wrist, 14 days
MISTER DEBONAIR and RYAN ROAD were best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Entering the turn into the back straight AVOID DAMAGE and ALISHKA collided causing ALISHKA to check GO FOR HOME. In the back straight ALISHKA and GO FOR HOME were wide. Entering the top turn ALISHKA eased. On the top turn ALISHKA and GO FOR HOME were wide. In the home straight ALISHKA turned its head outwards failing to make contact with GO FOR HOME.
The
greyhound ALISHKA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr.
K Ollerton that the greyhound would be charged under
Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 431m all tracks.
CHEEKY CHEECH, THIS TIME MADDIE and YOU MAYBE RIGHT were best to begin with BULK TOOTH BUCKY and ELITE BLUE BOY slowly away. Soon after the start CHEEKY CHEECH, THIS TIME MADDIE and YOU MAYBE RIGHT all collided. Entering the back straight CHOPPER NORRIS checked off the heels of YOU MAYBE RIGHT with THIS TIME MADDIE and MAYWYN SENOR colliding causing THIS TIME MADDIE to falter, who in turn caused MAYWYN SENOR to fall, who in turn caused CHOPPER NORRIS and YOU MAYBE RIGHT to fall, with YOU MAYBE RIGHT severely checking ELITE BLUE BOY forcing this greyhound wide. These 4 greyhounds took no further competitive part in the event.
The greyhound MAYWYN SENOR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound ELITE BLUE BOY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound YOU MAYBE RIGHT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with a PROMISES BLUE slowly away. Soon after the start MAYWYN NEVER and DEMOLITION JAZ collided. Entering the back straight GIL MARCHI checked off the heels of MAYWYN NEVER. Soon after STOLE MY HEART checked off the heels of SEMI FANTASY, causing STOLE MY HEART to race wide into the back straight with OUR ISLAND HOME and GIL MARCHI colliding in the back straight. On the top turn and home straight MAYWYN NEVER raced very wide.
The greyhound PROMISES BLUE was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind back muscle and
was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.

4 – Novice 431m
Even start with MAYWYN NEVER slowly away. Soon after the start DEMOLITION JAZ and MAYWYN NEVER collide. Approaching the turn into the back straight GIL MARCHI checked off the heels of MAYWYN NEVER. On the turn into the back straight STOLE MY HEART and semi fantasy collide causing SEMI FANTASY to race wide in the back straight. In the back straight OUR ISLAND HOME and GIL MARCHI collide. In the home straight MAYWYN NEVER was wide.
The greyhound IMA PIXIE was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the near fore leg and was stood down
for a period of 7 days.

KINLOCH BEACH was best to begin with STRING QUARTET slowly away. Soon after the start FASHION ADVICE and BLUE HOUDINI collided. Entering the turn out of the home straight HOUDINI HI and GARRY JACK collided. On the turn out of the home straight FASHION ADVICE and GARRY JACK collided forcing QUEEN OF SHOW wide. In the back and home straight GARRY JACK was wide.

URBAN STREET was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start SOCIAL DANCER, LEHMAN BENZ, MURBAH GOLD and KAMILAROI DUK all collided. Entering the back straight JAHIMIA and EYES ON ME collided. In the back straight JAHIMIA was wide. Entering the top turn KAMILAROI DUK and EYES ON ME collided. In the home straight JAHIMIA was wide.
The greyhound JAHIMIA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Trainer Mr. A Hoyland was questioned and Mr. Hoyland advised that the greyhound needs box 8 and that he did not support the greyhound.

KITBOOLOU ADAM was best to begin with SHAYLOR NORRIS slowly away. Soon after the start KITBOOLOU ADAM and REBBLE ROSE HI collided. Entering the back straight SHAYLOR NORRIS and FIRE ALONG collided causing SHAYLOR NORRIS to drop back sharply. In the back straight SPRING BIG IRON was wide. Entering the top turn MADADAM and SPRING BIG IRON collided. In the home straight FIRE ALONG was wide.

EMKAY BENZ was best to begin with a IRMA ADALINE slowly away. Soon after the start CHARILE SPRITE, SPRITE AND POWER, TUKULA and CUPPA TEA KIWI all collided. On the turn into the back straight IRMA ADELINE checked off the heels of CUPPA TEA KIWI causing IRMA ADELINE to check SCAR’S BROTHER. In the back straight SCAR’S BROTHER was wide. In the home straight CUPPA TEA KIWI and IRMA ADELINE collided.
Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 3 431m
TRANSMEDIA and DRAGON DANCER were slow away with PREMIER BEAR slowly away. Soon after the start INNER WISDOM, TRANSMEDIA, ON TIGHT LINES and GUNNER collided causing GUNNER to climb on the back of TRANSMEDIA causing this greyhound to fall, who in turn caused ON TIGHT LINES to fall. Entering the back straight DRAGON DANCER checked off the heels of EDGE ‘EM OUT causing DRAGON DANCER to fall and EDGE ‘EM OUT to take no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight GUNNER was wide.
The greyhound TRANSMEDIA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind back muscle and was
stood down for a period of 6 weeks.

SPANKY’S LEGEND and KIDATEE CROC were best to begin with OUT WEST slowly away.
Soon after the start HABANA FLEX, ROYAL ALBERT and ULTIMATE BOMBER collided. Entering the back straight ULTIMATE BOMBER and ROYAL ALBERT collided forcing ROYAL ALBERT wide. In the back straight OUT WEST and ZIPPING MANI collided. Entering the top turn ULTIMATE BOMBER and ZIPPING MANI collided. In the home straight OUT WEST and ROYAL ALBERT were wide.
The greyhound ZIPPING MANI was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood
down for a period of 14 days.
