The start of this race was delayed 1 minute due to interstate harness racing.
LUNA SEA was best to begin. KAMIKAZE TURTLE was slow to begin. AEROPLANE LOU checked off the heels of RAISE ‘EM UP and lost some ground shortly after the start. SPRING BLONDE checked across the heels of GOT BLACK BIDDYA and lost some ground approaching the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion. SPRING BLONDE raced wide after turning out of the front straight resulting in KAMIKAZE TURTLE checking across its heels and losing ground. ROCK THE VILLAGE and SPRING BLONDE raced wide in the back straight. SPRING BLONDE raced wide on the turn out of the back straight into the front straight and continued racing wide down the home straight. ROCK THE VILLAGE race wide into the home straight.
Even start. MINDY’S DREAM and YOUNG DALLAS were marginally slow to begin. PARTY VILLAGE an ALL IN SHIRAZ bumped in the front straight resulting in both greyhounds suffering some inconvenience. MCCAW MCCAW checked across the heels of THURSDAY WISH and lost some ground on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion. MINDY’S DREAM checked off the heels of MCCAW MCCAW and lost ground on the turn out of the front straight. YOUNG DALLAS raced onto the hindquarters of LEGAL FANTASY prior to turning into the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground. MCCAW MCCAW and YOUNG DALLAS raced wide into the back straight. PARTY VILLAGE checked across the heels of THURSDAY WISH and lost ground on the turn into the home straight. LEGAL FANTASY and YOUNY DALLAS bumped prior to turning into the home straight.

vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the back and was stood down for
a period of 10 days.

3 – Novice 520m
BY GOLLY MOLLY, BLITZ ‘EM and MAGIC SPARKLE were best to begin. BOMBAY ROLLER and ARABELLA were marginally slow to begin. BY GOLLY MOLLY checked off the heels of BLITZ ‘EM and lost ground in the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to ARABELLA. MAGIC SPARKLE and GIFTED ANGEL bumped towards the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion. TIBETAN DREAM shifted in on the turn into the front straight bumping BLITZ ‘EM and caused interference to RED RIVER ROSE, resulting in RED RIVER ROSE becoming unbalanced and losing considerable ground. BLITZ ‘EM also became unbalanced and lost ground bumping ARABELLA. GIFTED ANGEL shifted out across the heels of RED RIVER ROSE resulting in GIFTED ANGELA becoming unbalanced causing interference to BOMBAY ROLLER, who lost considerable ground as a result. BOMBAY ROLLER raced wide on the turn into the back straight as result of the previous incident. BLITZ ‘EM checked off the heels of ARABELLA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight. MAGIC SPARKLE improved onto the heels of GIFTED ANGEL on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both these greyhounds losing some ground also causing some inconvenience to BLITZ ‘EM. RED RIVER ROSE race wide in the back straight. RED RIVER ROSE raced wide in the front straight.
The greyhound BLITZ ‘EM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

4 – 5th Grade 431m
SHOW BOUND was best to begin. CLOVER COTTAGE checked across the heels of BAY OF SPRITE and lost some ground shortly after the start. COLD HARD TRUTH checked off the heels of OKA’S ANGEL and lost some ground shortly after the start, resulting in COLD HARD TRUTH and SMART HORNET bumping. WILD ELITE and OKA’S ANGEL bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in OKA’S ANGEL becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. WILD ELITE checked off the heels of GRAVITY WOLF and lost ground prior to turning into the back straight resulting in interference to COLD HARD TRUTH. CLOVER COTTAGE checked off the heels of OKA’S ANGEL and lost ground entering the back straight. GRAVITY WOLF checked off the heels of BAY OF SPRITE and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.

5 – 4/5th Grade 431m
HARA’S SIZZLE was best to begin. SPRING PLANET and CERVELO were slow to begin. BIG RED DEVIL checked off the heels of HARA’S SIZZLE and lost ground shortly after the start. BIG RED DEVIL was tightened for racing room and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight. SPRING PLANET shifted out on the turn into the back straight bumping ALEEAH JET resulting in both these greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground. CERVELO was also inconvenienced and forced wide. BIG RED DEVIL raced wide in the back straight. BIG RED DEVIL raced wide into and down the home straight. PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide in the home straight. SPRING PLANET and LAKODA DAWN bumped in the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to both greyhounds.
The greyhound LAKODA DAWN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound CERVELO was vetted and
found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a
period of 10 days.

6 – 5th Grade 520m
Even start with DOUBLE STORM marginally slow to begin. DOUBLE STORM was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. FYRE GAL, PRATER’S PROBLEM and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR raced tight in the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in PRATER’S PROBLEM losing some ground. DOUBLE STORM checked off the heels of KNIGHTS TEMPLAR and lost ground approaching the turn out of the front straight. HENRY JUDGE and MAYWYN’S YING bumped on the turn into the front straight.

MAYWYN WILL WIN was best to begin. PARCHMENT jumped awkwardly as the start was effected. SPRING FIRECHIEF was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start. FLASH HOUDINI and FRENCH IDOL bumped on the turn out of the front straight on the 1st occasion resulting in FLASH HOUDINI losing some ground. FRENCH IDOL and MAYWYN WILL WIN shifted out on the turn out of the front straight causing some inconvenience to RICK ‘N’ WILD and further interference to SPRING FIRECHIEF. SPRING FIRECHIEF raced wide on the turn into the back straight. FLASH HOUDINI checked of the heels of RICH’N’ WILD and lost ground prior to entering the back straight resulting in interference to NOT LIKE TOMMY. RICH ‘N’ WILD checked off the heels of MAYWYNWILL WIN on the turn out of the back straight resulting in RICH ‘N’ WILD losing ground. PARCHMENT checked off the heels of SLAYER RETURN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight. FRENCH IDOL checked across the heels of RICH ‘N’ WILD on the turn into the front straight resulting in FRENCH IDOL losing ground.

Even start with FAR FROM FEAR slow to begin. SWAP YA and MAYWN’S COPY bumped shortly after the start. MISS JACKPOT checked off the heels of HOPPING HOUDINI and lost ground in the front straight on the 1st occasion. MISS JACKPOT raced wide in the back straight. MISS JACKPOT checked off the heels of FAR FROM FEAR and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.
The greyhound FROSTY JAY JAY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
Even start. GOOD GIRL JANICE and KLOEIS PRIDE bumped on the turn out of the front straight. GOOD GIRL JANICE checked off the heels of KLOEIS PRIDE and lost ground after turning out of the front straight resulting in some inconvenience to TELEX FINGERS. DOWN THEY CAME raced wide into the back straight. KLOEIS PRIDE and DOWN THEY CAME bumped on the turn into the front straight.
The greyhound CELESTIAL SELENE was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was
stood down for a period of 10 days.

JAGGER LILLY was best to begin. GUNNER MAGIC jumped awkwardly as the start was effected. WALLOON SMARTIE and COOL CREDIT bumped shortly after the start resulting in WALLOON SMARTIE checking across the heels of DOOLEY’S SPRITE. WALLOON SMARTIE and COOL CREDIT bumped approaching the turn into the back straight. AMY LYNDAN checked across the heels of DOOLEY’S SPRITE and lost some ground approaching the turn into the back straight. COOL CREDIT and AMY LYNDAN bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in AMY LYNDAN becoming unbalanced and racing wide. JAGGER LILLY and AMY LYNDAN raced wide in the back straight.
