The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound NOOREE DESSA performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.33.

 

The greyhound KAWATI AS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 431m in a time of 25.89.

 

Race 1 – Maiden 431m

GO FOR HOME was slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn GO BLACK BIDDY was tightened for room losing its position.  Through the 1st turn PENNYLESS was bumped and became unbalanced and lost ground.  GO BLACK BIDDY which was following was also checked.  PENNYLESS raced wide in the back and home straights.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 431m

LITE ME UP and SAY SOMETHING were both slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn EYE SPYED YA and WILDASH WIZARDS bumped.  Shortly after WILDASH WIZARDS was crowded for room.  Through the 1st turn LADY TECHNO, LITE ME UP and SAY SOMETHING all collided resulting in LITE ME UP being severely checked and LADY TECHNO falling.  Leaving the 1st turn SAY SOMETHING clipped the heels of PENNYLESS and became unbalanced.  Approaching the back turn LITE ME UP improved onto the heels of WILDASH WIZARDS, became inconvenienced and lost ground.  Rounding the home turn LITE ME UP checked across the heels of PENCIL.  SAY SOMETHING which was following also became unbalanced.

 

The greyhound LADY TECHNO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 431m

TECHNO LEGEND and CASH EXPLOSION were best to begin.  HARA’S BRACELET was slowest.  Shortly after AT THE NECK and FAMOUR FOR FUN both became unbalanced.  Through the 1st turn HARA’S BRACELET and CASH EXPLOSION collided, resulting in HARA’S BRACELET being severely checked.  AT THE NECK, FAMOUS FOR FUN and BY GOLLY MOLLY which were following all suffered interference and lost ground.

 

Race 4 – Novice 431m

Even start.  Shortly after CYNO ROSE and MISS FELIX bumped, both becoming unbalanced.  Into the 1st turn SKITTISH EXPRESS was hampered for room and lost ground.  WALLOON WIZARD raced wide in the back and home straights.

 

Race 5 – Novice 431m

GUNNA SUCCEED was best to begin.  Into the 1st turn KAR BLU improved onto the heels of DEMOLITION JAZ and lost ground.  KAR BLU and DEMOLITION JAZ both raced wide throughout.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Final 431m

INNER WISDOM was best to begin.  Shortly after and into the 1st turn SNOWBALL BOB, SUPER SOOK, HEZA SIZE UP and CHARLIE SPRITE all raced tight when hampered and all greyhounds became unbalanced in this incident.  SNOWBALL BOB raced wide in the back and home straights.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade Heat 1 431m

KILTY JACK was slow to begin.  Shortly after TEMNICK shifted in abruptly tightening the running of TEETH GRIEF, TARA MARRIE and EMKAY BENZ, resulting in these greyhounds losing ground.  KILTY JACK which was following was inconvenienced in this incident.  Into the 1st turn TEETH GRIEF shifted out resulting in EMKAY BENZ and TEMNICK being forced wider and both losing ground.  BAGO BETSY raced wide for the majority.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade Heat 2 431m

Even start.  Entering the 1st turn SISTA TASHA was crowded and lost its position.  Through the 1st turn GOOD ODDS RICK shifted in tightening DOWN THEY CAME, which as a result contacted the heels of GOOD ODDS RICK.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced and lost ground.  CUPPA TEA KIWI and GET INVOLVED which were following both received severe interference.  Leaving the 1st turn SPRING DODGER and GOOD ODDS RICK collided.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced.  Rounding the home turn SISTA TASHA and GET INVOLVED bumped.

 

The greyhound CUPPA TEA KIWI was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 9 – 4/5th Grade Heat 3 431m

TRANSMEDIA was best to begin.  Shortly after SAVE US, LUCY BENZ, COOL CREDIT and ROSCO BANG BANG were all tightened for racing room.  Through the 1st turn TRANSMEDIA, SPRING BIG IRON and HANNAH MARRIE all raced tight bumping on several occasions.  Leaving the 1st turn LUCY BENZ was hampered causing that greyhound to fall.  SAVE US and COOL CREDIT were inconvenienced in this incident.  Approaching the back turn ROSCO BANG BANG checked across the heels of TRANSMEDIA.  TRANSMEDIA and HANNAH MARRIE both raced wide for the majority.

 

The greyhound LUCY BENZ was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 10 – Masters 431m

SHRUB’S CRUSADER was best to begin.  SMASH TO FEAR was slowest.  Through the 1st turn SMASH TO FEAR checked off the heels of HABANA FLEX and raced wide from that point.  In the back straight MACIE’S DINGO checked across the heels of LIL’ BIT SPARKY and lost ground.  SMASH TO FEAR gave ground over the concluding stages.

 

The greyhound SMASH TO FEAR was vetted and found to have suffering heat stress and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
