4 Bogie Colt – Turned its head inwards and made muzzle contact with a runner to its inside over the concluding stages. Steward’s spoke to trainer M Campbell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (3rd offence) – 3 month stand down at all tracks and must complete two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side hip support and was subsequently stood down for 10 days. |
