Race 1 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN 390m

1 Love By Design – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked, contacted the running rail. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

6 Blue Fairy – Shortly after the start turned its head inwards towards the inside runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer L Weeding regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR124 – Failing to Pursue – 1^st Offence, 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 2 -LADBROKES SMR IN MULTIS MAIDEN 390m  

3 Strong Boy – Through the turn out of the back straight was tightened and checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg webbing. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

Race 3 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 390m

4 Teneille – Approaching the finishing post eased and turned its head inwards to the inside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days. Stewards spoke to trainer representative D Hancock regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR125 – Failing to Pursue by reason of Injury – 14 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

8 Nando Watch – Through the turn out of the back straight was severely dragged down. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside shoulder. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

Race 4 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 390m

8 Tipsy Wobbler – Fell in catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg toe. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 21 days.
