2 Oxley Dream Girl – Made contact with the running rail entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
9 (7) Vampire Money – Turned its head outwards towards another runner entering the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near fore webbing and was subsequently stood down for 21 days. Further, Steward’s spoke to trainer A Clelland regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the back straight. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to purse (2nd offence) – 28 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
