1. Resilient – Approaching the winning post on the final occasion eased and turned its head inwards towards the inside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed lacerations to both hind feet and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Kirstie Hansen regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 10 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
