Race 1 - NAIDOC CELEBRATION CHASE OPEN 710m |

Reiterate – faltered on the turn out of the front straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a fracture to the right hock. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards inspected the track after the running of the event near the turn out of the front straight and deemed it suitable for racing. |

Race 2 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MIXED 4/5 600m |

Stewards inspected the track after the running of the event near the turn out of the back straight. After consultation with the track staff the races were delayed affording remedial works to be carried out. Following these works and further inspections the track was deemed unsuitable for racing to continue with the rest of the meeting postponed.
Race 8 – LADBROKES BRISBANE CUP (G1) Final 520m
Star Turn – upon retrieval from the kennel after the announcement of the postponement of the meeting, trainer Jeff Crawford presented Star Turn to the on-track veterinarians expressing concerns with the greyhound’s condition. Star Turn was found to have an elevated temperature and was treated by the on-course veterinarians. No stand down period was imposed. An inquiry into the condition of Star Turn has commenced.
