The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 7 TRADE IN Injured in running, broken tail, 14 days
Shortly after the start MISS SALLY FITZ ,DEAR DAPHNEY and SOBER MAGGIE came together causing all greyhounds to check and lose ground. In the back straight MADAM SECRETARY commenced to lose ground and DEAR DAPHNEY who was trailing clipped its heels and lost ground. DEAR DAPHNEY and MADAM SECRETARY checked near the home turn became unbalanced and lost ground.
Near the catching pen VALENTINE RAY and CHEERFUL GIVER checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground. OBLIVION and CHEERFUL GIVER raced tightly causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Race 3 – Novice
407m
Near the catching pens JUST A CHEQUE and TARAWI MAX checked heavily causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground.
TARAWI MAX was vet checked but no apparent injury was found.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 407m
Near the catching pen KYAMMY and ETHICAL STANDARD checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Near the 630m boxes IL DESTRUCTOR and MAKE THE SWITCH raced tightly causing both greyhounds interference. KYAMMY raced wide on the home turn.
Race 5 –
4/5th Grade 407m
SPRING GIFT and LUCKY AS EL raced tightly near the catching pen causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the back straight WAYNE WEBCKE and LUCKY AS EL checked causing both greyhounds to lose ground.
Race 6 – 0 – 3 Wins
510m
Even start. On the first turn MISS WORLDWIDE and SLASHIN’ PETE checked and DACKENBAH ROAD and MY TINY SIZE checked causing these greyhounds to lose considerable ground.

7 – 3/4th Grade 407m
Near the catching pen ROCKING ANGEL and MAUREENS MAGIC raced tightly between MAD RAILER and COSMIC EYE. In the back straight ROCKING ANGEL shifted out sharply and checked MAUREENS MAGIC. ROCKING ANGEL took no further active part in the race and finished the race tailed off.
ROCKING ANGEL was vet checked but no apparent injury was found. TRADE IN was vet checked and was found to have sustained a broken tail and was suspended for a period of 14 days.

ANY SIZE was slow to begin. ANY SIZE raced wide on the home turn.

Shortly after the start CLASSY BLONDE shifted inwards and tightened HIGHWAY IDOL, QUEEN OF SIENNA and MR. NORD causing all greyhounds to lose ground.

10 – 5th Grade 407m
Shortly after the start MY LADY KATIE and VANICKERS checked causing interference to both greyhounds.
