Race 6 RIVAL RANGA Injured in running, near side hip, 14 days

GENERAL

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

HALFA, DEAR DAPHNEY and BLUE MAGIC BOY were all slow to begin. Shortly after the start MADAM SECRETARY shifted in and crossed FITZROY RISING. Near the 630m boxes HALFA shifted out and checked DEAR DAPHNEY causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Approaching the home turn OVERDRIVE SPEED raced onto the heels of BRILLIANT EMMA and lost ground. BLUE MAGIC BOY raced wide throughout the race.

Race 2 – Novice 407m

Shortly after the start OBLIVION shifted in and checked JUST A CHEQUE. Near the catching pen OBLIVION shifted out and forced OUR MONEY MAKER to check out wide and cause interference to TARAWI MAX. Near the 630m boxes JUST A CHEQUE shifted in and checked OBLIVION.

Race 3 – Novice 407m

DIXIE FERNANDO, SUPERSONIC SHAK and LICKETY SPLIT were all slow to begin. Near the catching pen VALENTINE RAY shifted out and checked INTOLERANT. Near the 630m boxes VALENTINE RAY crossed CREDIT LIMIT.

Race 4 – 5^th Grade 407m

LUKAKU was slow to begin. Shortly after the start SHAYLOR TAMMY shifted in and checked MARINA’S DOLL causing MARINA’S DOLL to lose ground. IL DESTRUCTOR raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. SHAYLOR TAMMY raced wide around the home turn.

Race 5 – 5^th Grade 407m

WAYNE WEBCKE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start KOTA LIZ shifted in and forced TRUE MAGIC in onto FIVE FAT LADIES. In the back straight PAUA TO CHARGE raced onto the heels TARAWI MAX causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

Race 6 – 5^th Grade 510m

Even start. On the first turn ANY SIZE and RIVAL RANGA checked. RIVAL RANGER began to stop in the back straight and failed to finish the event.

RIVAL RANGA was vet checked and was found to have sustained an injury to the near hind hip and was suspended for a period of 14 days.

Race 7 – 3/4^th Grade 407m

WILBY SPECIAL was slow to begin. In the back straight WILBY SPECIAL raced onto the heels of TARAWI MARINA causing both greyhounds to lose ground. Near the 630m boxes WHO’S KEITH shifted in and checked WILBY MIGHTY causing WILBY MIGHTY to lose ground.

Race 8 – 3/4^th Grade 510m

VELOCITY BREEZE was slow to begin. On the first turn GIGGLING PANTHER shifted out and checked VELOCITY BREEZE causing both greyhounds to check and lose ground.

Race 9 – 5^th Grade 407m

KOTA MAY was slow to begin. Near the catching pen SHY LADY shifted out and forced BONNIE WINSLOW out wide and checked with OUTLAW CHARLIE. Near the 630m boxes BONNIE WINSLOW and MY TINY SIZE bumped on several occasions.

Race 10 – 5^th Grade 407m

EARNER BOB was slow to begin. Near the catching pen JUST A SHOW shifted out and checked with SWEET WILLOW. Near the 630m boxes SWEET WILLOW shifted in causing NELLIE’S JOKER to shift in and check JUST A SHOW.
