The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 4 NELLIE’S JOKER

STARS ALIGN and FITZROY RISING were slow to begin. Near the catching pen DEAR DAPHNEY was tightened for room between RUN RIOT and DREAM GIRL GABBY resulting in DEAR DAPHNEY shifting out checking with FITZROY RISING and losing ground.
MAKE THE SWITCH was slow to begin. FLOW BLACK and BUSBY raced tightly and inconvenienced each other. Near the 630m boxes MAKE THE SWITCH checked off the heels of SPRING GIFT shifted outwards and lost ground.
Race 3 – 4/5th
Grade Semi Final 2
ROCKET TRACEY, COSMIC CYCLONE and WHO’S KEITH raced tightly through the catching pen causing inconvenience to these greyhounds.
Race 4 – Rockhampton Cup
Heat 1 510m
DASHING MAN and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR checked at the start causing inconvenience to each other. MELODY SERENADE,TRUE MAGIC and NELLIE’S JOKER raced tightly in the early stages. On the first turn NELLIE’S JOKER was tightened between TRUE MAGIC and JUNIOR CHAVEZ resulting in NELLIE’S JOKER falling.
NELLIE’S JOKER was vet checked and no apparent injury was found.
Race 5 – Rockhampton Cup
Heat 2 510m
Shortly after the start HELLO STRANGER shifted inwards and checked WHATA NICE SIZE. POST BOX was slow to begin. On the first turn POST BOX checked off the heels of MAUREEN’S MAGIC shifted out and raced wide.
Race 6 – Rockhampton Cup
Heat 3 510m
TIME IS MONEY was slow to begin. Shortly after the start GET INVOLVED shifted inwards and checked VELOCITY BREEZE. On the first turn BILL’S FANTASY shifted out and checked SWEET WILLOW resulting in SWEET WILLOW falling and inconvenienced MADE TO ORDER.
SWEET WILLOW was vet checked and no apparent injury was found.
Race 7 – Rockhampton Cup Heat 4 510m
FLASH HOUDINI was slow to begin. Shortly after the start FLASH ZOE shifted inwards and inconvenienced BLUE HOUDINI.
Race 8 – Rockhampton Cup Heat 5 510m
Even start. On the first turn CLASSIFY has shifted out wide and checked THUNDER EYES and CLASH OF KINGS. In the back straight CLASSIFY checked off the heels of THUNDER EYES and lost ground. On the home turn DON’T GO QUIETLY shifted out and checked CLASH OF KINGS.
Race 9 – Rockhampton Cup Heat 6 510m
No racing incidents to report.
Race 10 – 4/5th Grade 407m
EARNER BOB was slow to begin. Near the catching pens SUMMAH’S KNIGHT shifted outwards and made contact with TRADE IN resulting in TRADE IN shifting outwards and inconvenienced FIVE FAT LADIES. In the back straight TRADE IN shifted in and checked SIR ANGELO causing SIR ANGELO to lose ground. In the home straight BALTIMORE and QUEEN OF SIENNA checked.
