The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

Race 1 – Novice 407m

Shortly after the start OVERDRIVE SPEED shifted in and checked FARMOR POCO’S and TOP EARNER causing both greyhounds to lose ground. VELOCITY ECLIPSE and DEAR DAPHNEY checked near the catching pens causing interference to both greyhounds.

Race 2 – Novice 407m

HENRY’S HAMMER and KOTA MAY checked near the catching pen. FARMOR CONFUSION checked off the heels of WYND HIM UP near the catching pen. In the back straight ROCKY BIINGO checked off the heels of POP THE HOOD and lost ground. In the home straight NICKO FERNANDO, KOTA MAY and WYND HIM UP raced tightly causing the greyhounds to become unbalanced.

Race 3 – 5^th Grade 407m

SHAYLOR BACARDI, MARINA’S DOLL and TINA LEE raced tightly near the catching pen and lost ground.

Race 4 – 4/5^th Grade 407m

Near the catching pen LARA BENZ checked off the heels of ETHICAL STANDARD and lost ground, this incident caused interference to KYAMMY and PAR DER FIR. Near the 630m boxes BUSBY shifted inwards severely hampering LARA BENZ causing LARA BENZ to lose considerable ground.

LARA BENZ was vet checked and found to have sustained a near hind leg strain and was suspended for a period of 28 Days.

Race 5 – 4^th Grade 407m

Near the catching pen general tightening in racing resulted in FOCUS AND SPEED and SURE YOU CAN clearing the field. BIG TEE SAL lost ground near the 630m boxes when GUNSPEED shifted out and inconvenienced FLOW BLACK and KNOCK HER DOWN.

Race 6 – 4/5^th Grade 510m

WILDASH TAPPER was slow to begin. On the first turn BLACK MODEL shifted out and severely inconvenienced WILDASH TAPPER. In the back straight SWEET WILLOW shifted out and caused interference to OH THE SHAME.

Trainer Christine Pollard was advised that BLACK MODEL was suspended under rule R71 for an unsatisfactory performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards trial over the 510m.

Race 7 – CQ Derby Final 510m

TRIGGER was slow to begin. COSMIC CYCLONE and TRIGGER checked on the first turn and lost ground. Near the 630m BOBBY BACON began to shorten stride to avoid the heels of TRIGGER. In the home straight COSMIC CYCLONE and BOBBY BACON checked on the rails.

Race 8 – Best 8 407m

SANDFIRE was slow to begin. Near the catching pen REFUND shifted out and caused interference to GOTCHA CLASS.

Race 9 – 5^th Grade 407m

Shortly after the start FARMOR COMMAND was checked between MIGHTY AWESOME and KOTA LIZ and lost ground.

Race 10 – 5^th Grade 407m

Shortly after the start SALT LAKE CITY shifted out and checked RUN RIOT and FITZROY RISING causing both greyhounds to lose ground. RUN RIOT shifted out near the catching pen and checked FITZROY RISING. FITZROY RISING shifted out and checked SHAYLOR TAMMY causing SHAYLOR TAMMY to lose ground.
