The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

COCO BEWARE was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen FLYING CIRCUS shifted out and checked CHIEF RED CLOUD.  VELOCITY SHAZZ and PERFECT MUM both raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 2 – Novice 407m

SOBER MAGGIE was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen FARMOR CONFUSION shifted in and checked CRAZY KAITLYN.  In the back straight UNO THE DEAL shifted out and crossed HENRY’S HAMMER causing it to fall this incident caused interference to NASRI.

 

HENRY’S HAMMER was vet checked and was found to have sustained a broken fore leg and was humanely euthanised.

 

Race 3 – 0 – 3 Wins 510m

TOKYO SWIFT was slow to start.  TOKYO SWIFT raced extremely wide throughout the race.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 407m

TOP EARNER was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start EXPRESS LEVEL shifted in and crossed ROCKY BINGO and FARMOR POCO’S.  WYND HIM UP and TOP EARNER both raced wide throughout the race.

 

ROCKY BINGO was vet checked and was found to have sustained a laceration to the nose and was suspended for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 407m

FARMOR DAYS was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start STARS ALIGN shifted out and checked SHAYLOR CHASE.  Near the catching pen FITZROY RISING shifted out and forced CHUCK A BOMB to shift out and check WILDASH REV.  FARMOR DAYS raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 407m

FLOW BLACK and JUNIOR CHAVEZ were slow to begin.  Near the catching pen BIG TEE SAL shifted out and checked SHY LADY.  BIG TEE SAL finished the race tailed off and was vet checked. JUNIOR CHAVEZ raced wide throughout the race.

 

BIG TEE SAL was vet checked and no apparent injury was found. BIG TEE SAL was suspended for an unsatisfactory performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial.

 

Race 7 – CQ Futurity final 510m

GOLD PLATED and WILDASH TAPPER were slow to begin. DEAR DAPHNEY and DYNAMITE SPEED both raced wide on the first turn.  SHAYLOR BACARDI and DYNAMITE SPEED bumped on the home turn.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 407m

TRADE IN, ZAMBEZI ROCK and FOCUS AND SPEED were all slow to begin.  In the back straight FOCUS AND SPEED shifted in and checked ZAMBEZI ROCK.  Near the 630m boxes REFUND shifted out and crossed ZAMBEZI ROCK  causing ZAMBEZI ROCK to lose ground.  BALTIMORE and FOCUS AND SPEED raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 407m

MARINA’S DOLL and SALT LAKE CITY were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start GIGGLING PANTHER shifted out and checked GENTLE JOAN. RUN RIOT and SALT LAKE CITY both raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 407m

OVERDRIVE SPEED was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen HENIFY’S REVENGE shifted in and crossed BOGIE DANCER.  TARAWI MAX and HANIFY’S REVENGE checked shortly after the catching pen causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  In the back straight BOGIE DANCER raced onto the heels of TARAWI MAX.
