The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

Shortly after the start BEETOWN OSCAR shifted in and forced GUNS N ROSIE onto SMASHING FASHION.  Near the catching pen GUNS N ROSIE shifted out and checked BEETOWN OSCAR.  BEETOWN OSCAR and LITTLE BUMP both raced wide throughout the race.

 

Trainer Wayne Scott was fined $50 for being late to the kennels under Rule 46 (2).

 

Race 2 – Maiden 407m

HIGH LEE BLUE was slow to begin.  Shortly after the start LAKODA VIPER shifted in and checked SAVANNAH’S GIRL.  LAKODA VIPER and HIGH LEE BLUE both raced wide throughout the race.  SCREEN SIREN raced wide until the 630m boxes.

 

FARMOR GEE’S was vetted but no apparent injury was found.

 

Trainer John Watts had a warning imposed on his greyhound HIGH LEE BLUE for its racing manner.

 

Race 3 – Novice 407m

NICKO FERNANDO was slow to begin.  IZZYOTIC and FARMOR ANTIQUE bumped shortly after the start.  NICKO FERNANDO began to lose ground in the back straight.  TWELVE PLUS TWO raced wide for the second half of the race.

 

NICKO FERNANDO was vetted and no apparent injury was found.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 407m

BULLET PITCH was slow to begin.  WYND HIM UP and FARMOR POCO’S bumped on the home turn.  FARMOR POCO’S raced wide throughout the race.  OH THE SHAME raced wide until the 630m boxes. BULLET PITCH raced wide from the 630m boxes.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 407m

KINGS SON was slow to begin.  CONRAD shifted in shortly after the start and forced PAPER SHOT onto RED GUN causing PAPER SHOT and RED GUN to lose ground.  SHAYLOR TAMMY raced wide from the catching pen.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 407m

CHUCK A BOMB was slow to begin.  VELOCITY ECLIPSE shifted out wide near the catching pen.  STARS ALIGN raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 407m

Shortly after the start SUMMAH’S KNIGHT shifted out and checked BONNO BEACH and BRAZEN SPEED causing BONNO BEACH and BRAZEN SPEED to lose ground.  Near the catching pen TRES CHIC shifted out and checked PERFECT MUM.  PERFECT MUM raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 8 – 4t th Grade 510m

MIGHTY AWESOME was slow to begin.  BOGIE’S A STAR and BELLA CRUSADER both raced wide on the first turn.  BOGIE’S A STAR raced wide throughout the race.  VELOCITY ELLE shifted out wide in the home straight and checked BUSBY.

 

JUNIOR CHAVEZ was vetted and was found to have sustained an off fore foot injury and was suspended for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 9 – Best 8 407m

Clean start.  Shortly after the start DYNAMITE SPEED shifted in and checked HARRY BAILEY causing HARRY BAILEY to lose ground.  On the home turn HARRY BAILEY shifted out and bumped with MAKE THE SWITCH.  MAKE THE SWITCH raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 10 – Masters 407m

VELOCITY PEARL and NELLIE’S JOKER were slow to begin.  Approaching the catching pen VELOCITY PEARL shifted out and checked NELLIE’S JOKER.  Near the 630m boxes RUBY DUTCHESS shifted in and crossed VELOCITY PEARL.  NELLIE’S JOKER raced wide throughout the race.
