FAST AND SERIOUS was very slow to begin. Near the 630m boxes BULL’S JOKER shifted out and checked COCO BEWARE. BOB’S JOKER raced wide until the 630m boxes and then moved into the rail. FAST AND SERIOUS has raced onto the back of BOB’S JOKER on several occasions causing both greyhounds to lose ground. In the home straight COCO BEWARE and bumped with FAST AND SERIOUS on two occasions.
LITTLE DINA and BLACK AS TAR were both slow to begin. Near the catching pen LAKODA VIPER shifted in and checked GEE TEE JOKER. GEE TEE JOKER and HEZ ALL STYLE bumped causing HEZ ALL STYLE to lose considerable ground and finished the race tailed off. LITTLE DINA and GEE TEE JOKER bumped on the home turn.
HEZ ALL STYLE was vetted but no apparent injury was found. Trainer Andrew Johnson had a warning imposed on his greyhound HEZ ALL STYLE for an unsatisfactory performance.
Race 3 – 0 – 3 Wins 510m
MIGHTY AWESOME was slow to begin. On the first turn OCCY CUT BACK and OH THE SHAME both shifted out and checked VELOCITY ECLIPSE. OCCY CUT BACK raced wide from the back straight until the finish of the race. VELOCITY ECLIPSE raced wide throughout the race.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 407m
SHAYLOR BACARDI and DEB’S PENNY were both slow to begin. DEB’S PENNY raced wide throughout the race. Near the catching pen TRACKIE CHAN shifted in and checked MARINA’S PRINCE.
Race 5 – 4th
Grade 407m
Even start. Near the catching pen KELLER BEACH shifted in checked TRES CHIC causing both greyhounds to lose ground. BUSBY raced wide throughout the race.
Race 6 – 4th
Grade 407m
Even start. LIVYS BEACH raced wide until the 630m boxes. CRAY CRAY hs raced wide throughout the race. GENTLE JOAN began to lose ground from the catching pen and finished the race tailed off.
GENTLE JOAN was vetted and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was
suspended for a period of 14 days.
Race 7 – 5th
Grade 510m
LITTLE ACH CEE and VELOCITY ELLE were slow to begin. Approaching the finish line VELOCITY ELLE has marred THRILLA MACHINE.
VELOCITY ELLE was suspended for a period of 28 days for marring 1st offence and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial.
Race 8 – Best 8 407m
Even start. Shortly after the start MISS O’NEIL shifted in and checked DYNAMITE SPEED. Near the catching pen BALTIMORE shifted out and checked MISS O’NEIL. In the back straight BALTIMORE run onto the heels of MARLIN SLAYER causing both greyhounds to lose ground. BALTIMORE raced wide from the 630m boxes until the finish of the race.
Race 9 – 5th
Grade 407m
NOT TODAY MATE was slow to begin . Near the catching pen HALFA shifted out and checked OVERDRIVE SPEED and NOT TODAY MATE. In the back straight NOT TODAY MATE run onto the heels of HALFA causing both greyhounds to check and lose ground. TOP EARNER raced wide for the second half of the race. NOT TODAY MATE run wide from the 630m boxes until the finish.
Race 10 – Masters 407m
KOTA MAY and PAR DE FIR were both slow to begin. Near the catching pen LONG LONG TRAIN shifted in and checked TRADE IN and ICKLE PICKLE. LONG LONG TRAIN was checked between KOTA LIZ and TRADE IN near the 630m boxes.
