GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden 407m

LITTLE DINA and SAVANNAH’S GIRL were both slow to begin.  Near the catching pen RED FAWN ANGEL shifted out and checked LITTLE DINA.  On the home turn GUNS N ROSIE shifted out and bumped heavily with LEO HARKS causing LEO HARKS to lose ground.  SAVANNAH’S GIRL raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 2 – Novice 407m

IZZYOTIC and BLACK AS TAR were both slow to begin.  Near the catching pen AKUMA TREBLE shifted out and checked BLACK AS TAR causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  BLACK AS TAR and FARMOR EL DORADO both raced wide throughout the race.  AKUMA TREBLE began to lose ground in the back straight and finished the race tailed off.

 

AKUMA TREBLE was vetted and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind leg and was suspended for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 3 – 0 – 3 Wins 510m

VELOCITY CHRIS and FINE PERFORMER were both slow to begin.  MIGHTY AWESOME was extremely slow to begin.  On the first turn VELOCITY CHRIS shifted in and checked with FINE PERFORMER.  VELOCITY CHRIS has raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 407m

OVERDRIVE SPEED was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen RED GUN shifted in and checked SCREEN SIREN causing SCREEN SIREN to lose ground.  OVERDRIVE SPEED began to lose ground in the back straight and failed to finish the race.

 

OVERDRIVE SPEED was vetted and was found to have sustained an injury to the off hind hock and was suspended for a period of 28 days.

 

Race 5 – 4/5th Grade 407m

KING’S SON and LEMAITRE were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start LAKODA MAGIC shifted in and crossed SOBER MAGGIE causing SOBER MAGGIE to lose ground.  PERFECT MUM and LEMAITRE raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 6 – 3/4th Grade 407m

Even start.  Shortly after the start SHAYLOR BACARDI shifted out and checked MARLIN SLAYER causing MARLIN SLAYER to lose ground.  SOPHIE’S MATE crossed SUMMAH’S KNIGHT near the catching pen.  SUMMAH’S KNIGHT and MARLIN SLAYER bumped on the home turn causing both greyhounds to lose ground.

 

Race 7 – Best 8 407m

FOCUS AND SPEED was slow to begin.  On the home turn MISS O’NEIL shifted out and checked SURE YOU CAN causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  COSMIC EYE raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 8 – Australia Day Cup 510m

CRAY CRAY and LITTLE ACH CEE were both slow to begin.  CRAY CRAY has shifted out wide on the first turn and checked with MAGIC MAGNUM.  BOGIE’S A STAR shifted wide on the first turn.  MAGIC MAGNUM raced wide throughout the race.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 407m

GOLD PLATED was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen HANIFY’S REVENGE and SPRING SMIRK have bumped causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Near the 630m boxes GOLD PLATED has run onto the heels of SHAYLOR TAMMY and lost ground.

 

Race 10 – Masters 407m

NELLIE’S JOKER was slow to begin.  Near the catching pen LONG LONG TRAIN has shifted in and crossed ICKLE PICKLE.  NELLIE’S JOKER raced wide throughout the race.
