Due to a lure wire issue following the running of race two, all races were put back one time slot with race 10 to be run at 10.31pm.

Following the running of race two stewards ordered that no pre-race previews would be conducted for the remainder of the night.

Waikarie Venom – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after being involved in a scrimmage in the catching pen. No apparent abnormalities were detected.

 

Five Crowns – Checked around the first turn. Checked racing off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 5 - A2Z DENTAL ROCKHAMPTON GRADE 5 407m

Race 6 - PARKHURST QUALITY MEATS MIXED 4/5 407m

Race 7 - LOVE A GREYHOUND GRADE 4 407m

Race 8 - SKY RACING QGOLD FINAL OPEN 407m

 

Edgewood – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of trainer C Pollard. No apparent abnormalities were detected.

 

Race 9 - DINKY DI WEB DESIGN FFA 407m

Race 10 - GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND GRADE 5 407m

 

Velocity Reba – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards inquired into the actions of the greyhound in the run to the finish. After considering their own observations, the available replays and submissions from trainer D Taylor, stewards were satisfied that Velocity Reba had turned its head inwards close to the finish and marred the running of both Rupee Ranger and Coronation Day. Under GAR123 the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days at Rockhampton and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for a first offence.
