The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 8 PHOTO BOOTH Injured in running, abdomen, 10 days
LONESOME MAX was slow to begin. SCORPIO JAY and RHONDA JOAN came together soon after the start. TWO TENTHS checked off the heels of COSMIC COSMO at the 1st turn and lost ground. LONESOME MAX and PEARL OF MINGELA were both wide at the home turn.
The greyhound TWO TENTHS was vetted and found to have sustained a toe injury, and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
SEE SENORITA and VAR MONTE CARLO came together soon after the start. WINFIELD ROCKY and WILDASH PLUMBOB were both tightened for running in the back straight and lost ground. WILLIAM MAC and SEE SENORITA were both severely checked at the 1st turn and lost significant ground. WINFIELD ROCKY, WILDASH PLUMBOB and MAYWYN’S JOSH which were following were also severely checked. MOO MOO also lost ground at this point.
Race 3 – 5th
Grade 380m
BLONDE JUSTICE began well. BELIMBA HUSTLER and FULL THROTTLE both dwelt at the start. DEMORIC FIT and BEACH FRONT came together soon after the start. DEMORIC FIT, BEACH FRONT and FULL THROTTLE were all wide at the home turn.
The greyhound BLONDE JUSTICE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 –
4/5th Grade 380m
SUPERMAC began well. WILDASH MONTE was slowly away. Soon after the start ON DECK shifted in severely checking the running of SUPERMAC and ZIPPING MAX. As a result SUPERMAC became unbalanced and fell, taking no further competitive part in the event. ZIPPING MAX also lost significant ground. KING CHONAILL which was following was also inconvenienced. Approaching the 1st turn WILDASH MONTE became awkward and lost ground.
The greyhound WILDASH MONTE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound ZIPPING MAX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound SUPERMAC was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade 498m
Stewards declared this event ‘No Race’ after the lure malfunctioned in the back straight and all runners completed a full circuit of the track.
Race 6 –
4/5th Grade 498m
BLUE HOUDINI and POWER CELL both began well. VELOCITY KYZON was slowly away. Near the 1st turn VELOCITY KYZON shifted in checking the running of DASH FOR COVER which lost ground and became awkward taking no further competitive part in the event. POWER CELL and MINGELA COSMO were both wide in the back straight. Approaching the top turn SNAKE PROOF shifted in checking the running of LISTEN.
The greyhound DASH FOR COVER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Trainer Mr. K Wheeler was advised that a warning would be placed on the greyhound DASH FOR COVER for a performance bordering on unsatisfactory. Mr. Wheeler undertook to notify Stewards should DASH FOR COVER display any sign of injury in coming days.

7 – 4th Grade 380m
BALZAREEN, SEE SENORA and EUNICE LILLIAN all began well. Soon after the start SAVIOUR, COACH LITTLE and EMINEM BLUE GIRL came together. COACH LITTLE and EMINEM BLUE GIRL both lost ground. EMINEM BLUE GIRL was wide in the back straight. Approaching the 1st turn SCARLETT’S DEVIL shifted out onto the running of EUNICE LILLIAN which was checked severely, losing significant ground. WIND TRACKER which was following was also inconvenienced.

8 – Open Final 380m
CUT OUT PASS was best to begin. FLIPPIN’ RIPPER was slowly away. Soon after the start ZAMBEZI ROCK shifted in checking the running of GUNNADOO RACER which lost significant ground. Approaching the 1st turn MAYWYNS MARTY shifted in severely checking the running of FLIPPIN’ RIPPER. As a result FLIPPIN’ RIPPER shifted out abruptly onto the running of GUNNADOO RACER. Both greyhounds were severely checked. FLIPPIN’ RIPPER lost significant ground and GUNNADOO RACER lost momentum taking no further competitive part in the event.
At the top turn PHOTO BOOTH became awkward and lost momentum.
The greyhound GUNNADOO RACER was vetted and found to have sustained a toe injury, and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
The greyhound PHOTO BOOTH was vetted and found to have sustained an abdominal injury, and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
