The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 5 JENNY BOOKER

Following the running of this event Stewards viewed the patrol film to ensure that the lure had been positioned a sufficient distance behind the starting boxes prior to being set in motion. After viewing the film Stewards were satisfied that the positioning of the lure had not materially affected the race start and, accordingly, issued the “All Clear.”
SMILEY FEE FEE and EBONY SPECIAL both began well. ELUSIVE DIVA and GAP YEAR both dwelt at the start. BLUEFIRE CHALICE was slowly into stride. Approaching the 1st turn ELUSIVE DIVA shifted out checking the running of BLUEFIRE CHALICE which lost ground. GAP YEAR was wide at the home turn.
RHONDA’S TEARS was best to begin. MISTIFIDE and FEAR NO HURDLE both dwelt at the start. Approaching the 1st turn POISED TO POUNCE lost ground when tightened for running between MOO MOO and SUPERMAC which was shifting in. Through the 1st turn MOO MOO shifted in severely checking the running of WILLIAM MAC. As a result of this incident WILLIAM MAC shifted out abruptly onto the running of POISED TO POUNCE, RHONDA’S TEARS and FEAR NO HURDLE, all of which were severely checked, racing wide and losing significant ground.
Race 3 – 5th
Grade 380m
DEMORIC FIT and MR. CRUSTACEAN came together on jumping. Both greyhounds were inconvenienced. Shortly after the start BEACH FRONT lost ground after improving onto the heels of BELIMBA HUSTLER which was also inconvenienced. Approaching the 1st turn DEMORIC FIT and MR. CRUSTACEAN came together heavily. Both greyhounds were severely checked and lost significant ground. BEACH FRONT and DEMORIC FIT were both wide at the home turn. KENNY’S AROMA raced wide for the majority of the event.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 380m
SAVIOUR and VAR MONTE CARLO both began well. POWER CELL and BLACK DENIM were both slowly into stride. Shortly after the start WINFIELD ROCKY shifted in checking the running of POWER CELL which lost ground. Through the back straight SAVIOUR lost ground when tightened for running between KING ROCKSTAR and VAR MONTE CARLO which was shifting in. Approaching the 1st turn SAVIOUR shifted in tightening the running of POWER CELL which was inconvenienced. Through the 1st turn VAR MONTE CARLO lost ground when tightened for running between WINFIELD ROCKY and BLACK DENIM which was shifting in. SNAKE PROOF which was following was also inconvenienced. VAR MONTE CARLO and SNAKE PROOF came together at the home turn resulting in VAR MONTE CARLO becoming unbalanced and racing wide. BLACK DENIM and POWER CELL were also wide at the home turn.
Race 5 –
4/5th Grade 380m
ON DECK and EUNICE LILLIAN both began well. JENNY BOOKER and LISTEN were both slowly away. Shortly after the start BELLE SIND lost ground when tightened for running between BLUE HOUDINI and BALZAREEN which was shifting in. Through the back straight BALZAREEN lost ground when tightened between runners and, in doing so, dropped back onto the running of JENNY BOOKER which was severely checked and lost significant ground, taking no further competitive part in the event. WILDASH MONTE and EUNICE LILLIAN were both wide at the home turn. BELLE SIND and BALZAREEN came together on straightening. Both greyhounds were unbalanced.
A post-race veterinary examination of the greyhound JENNY BOOKER failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Race 6 –
4/5th Grade 498m
CAWBOURNE HAZARD began well. Soon after the start ALL BUT CENTRE and TICKFORD both lost ground when tightened between runners. Through the 1st turn CAWBOURNE HAZARD shifted in severely checking the running of BUCKLED which lost ground. VELOCITY KYZON which was following was also checked. Entering the back straight TICKFORD shifted in severely checking the running of BUCKLED which lost significant ground. ELKINGTON raced wide through the back straight and for the remainder of the event. Through the top turn VELOCITY KYZON and TICKFORD came together resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

7 – 4th Grade 380m
WIND TRACKER was best to begin. FLIPPIN’ RIPPER dwelt at the start. Shortly after the start JUSTA BEAUTY lost ground when tightened for running between MAYWYNS MARTY and ABBI’S PRINCESS which was shifting in. Through the back straight ZIPPING CARLTON was inconvenienced when tightened for running between EMINEM BLUE GIRL and ABBI’S PRINCESS which was shifting in. Approaching the 1st turn WIND TRACKER became awkward and shifted ground outwards making heavy contact with GUNNADOO DELTA. As a result GUNNADOO DELTA was severely checked and raced wide through the turn. WIND TRACKER, EMINEM BLUE GIRL and GUNNADOO DELTA were all wide at the home turn. ZIPPING CARLTON and ABBI’S PRINCESS came together at the home turn. Both greyhounds were unbalanced.

SINDARYN and ARLANDRIA both began well. CUT OUT PASS and GUNNADOO RACER both dwelt at the start. Through the back straight GUNNADOO RACER lost ground after improving onto the heels of AVONDALE TARA. Through the 1st turn REECY GOGOLAC was inconvenienced after improving onto the heels of ARLANDRIA.
