The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

The greyhound COBBIN performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 380m in a time of 23.61.

 

The greyhound BEHM performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 380m in a time of 23.40.

 

Race 1 – Maiden 380m

WALLEN JOE was best to begin.  RHONDA’S RAVEN was slow to begin.  MAGIC CHAOS was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  WALLEN JOE checked off the heels of WILDASH TAPPER in the back straight causing some interference to MISS SALLY FITZ.  MAGIC WISP checked off the heels of WALLEN JOE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  GAP YEAR raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden 380m

RHONDA JOAN was best to begin.  SET TO SCORE checked off the heels of WHERE’S BLOCKER and lost ground in the back straight.  RHONDA JOAN and SUFFICIENT DATA bumped in the back straight resulting in SUFFICIENT DATA losing ground.  MR. REX checked off the heels of SUFFICIENT DATA on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.  MR. REX checked off the heels of RHONDA JOAN and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.

 

The greyhound MR. REX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 3 – Novice 380m

Even start.  WILDASH REV checked off MR. CRUSTACEAN shortly after the start.  SUPERSONIC SHAK was tightened for racing room and lost ground in the back straight.  WILDASH REV checked off the heels of MR. CRUSTACEAN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  REVEL DICTATOR and WILDASH REV bumped on the turn into the front straight.  EXPRESS PASS and BRIGHT DEBREE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 380m

ON DECK was best to begin.  BLACK PEPPERCORN was slow to begin.  PRINCE OF DOOM checked off the heels of SMILEY FEE FEE and lost ground in the back straight.  SMILEY FEE FEE was tightened for racing room between BRIGHT REBEL and PRINCE OF DOOM and lost ground prior to turning into the front straight.  BLACK PEPPERCORN checked off the heels of SMILEY FEE FEE on the turn into the front straight resulting in interference to ON DECK.

 

Race 5 – Best 8 380m

Even start with ALL BUT CENTRE marginally slow.  GUERILLA and ARLANDRIA were tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  GUERILLA lost ground sharply on the turn out of the back straight.  DIVVY UP and REECY GOGOLAC raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound GUERILLA was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 6 – 4th Grade 380m

ZIPPING CARLTON, MARIA DE CEE and JUSTA BEAUTY were slow to begin.  ZIPPING CARLTON, MARIA DE CEE and ABBI’S PRINCESS bumped shortly after the start.  TICKFORD and WILDASH WILDFIRE bumped on the turn into the front straight.  PACIFIC SPRING raced wide for the majority of the journey.

 

The greyhound PACIFIC SPRING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 7 – 4th Grade 380m

SUPERMAC was best to begin.  CUT OUT PASS checked off the heels of WIND TRACKER in the back straight resulting in interference to BLUE HOUDINI.  CUT OUT PASS raced onto the heels of WIND TRACKER and fell on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to FLIPPIN’ RIPPER.  BLUE HOUDINI raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound CUT OUT PASS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side dew claw and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 498m

Even start with JENNY BOOKER and ZAMBEZI ROCK slow.  MAYWYNS MARTY checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE HAZARD and lost ground shortly after the start.  MAYWYNS MARTY and MINGELA COSMO raced wide in the back straight.  JENNY BOOKER checked off the heels of MAYWYNS MARTY and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MINGELA COSMO raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 9 – 0 – 3 Wins 498m

RICHTER SCALE was slow to begin.  EBONY SPECIAL and MANCHU WOK raced tight in to the turn into the back straight resulting in EBONY SPECIAL checking off the heels of MANCHU WOK and losing ground causing some inconvenience.  EBONY SPECIAL checked off the heels of KNOCK THE TOP and lost ground on the turn after the back straight.  KNOCK THE TOP and MANCHU WOK bumped on the turn into the front straight.  KNOCK THE TOP raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 10 – 4/5th Grade 380m

EUNICE LILLIAN was best to begin.  IMPOSING SIND was slow into stride.  PURE BEKIM checked off the heels of KING ROCKSTAR and lost ground in the back straight.  MAKE THE SWITCH and BALZAREEN bumped in the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced.  EUNICE LILLIAN and BOLD DEBREE raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound PURE BEKIM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Race 11 - 5th Grade 380m

WILLIAM MAC checked off the heels of LUCKY AS EL and lost ground shortly after the start.  MORAN’S WEIR was slow into stride as the start was effected.  TRU ZOOMER was tightened for racing room into the back straight and lost ground.  BELLE SIND checked off the heels of SNAKE PROOF on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to SENOR AL and BELLE SIND losing considerable ground.  JACK SPRITE and LUCKY AS EL bumped on the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 12 - 5th Grade 380m

MOO MOO was best to begin.  TRUE MAGIC and LISTEN were slow to begin.  TRUE MAGIC checked off the heels of CAPTAIN LONESTAR on the turn out of the back straight.
