Race 1 BARNIE BOUCHEAU – Satisfactory trial
PETITE MAGIC and SNEAKIN’ROUND were the best to begin. TONI’S QUITE and MAGIC CHAOS were slow to being. BARNIE BOUCHEAU checked off SNEAKIN’ ROUND and lost ground in the back straight. BAILINATOR and BARNIE BOUCHEAU were inspected by the veterinarian after the race. No abnormalities were found with either greyhound.
BARNIE BOUCHEAU was stood down from racing under the provisions of GAR 71 for an unsatisfactory performance and will be required to perform a satisfactory trial prior to racing.
A warning was placed on BAILINATOR for what stewards deemed as bordering on an unsatisfactory performance.
The lure failed after turning out of the back straight resulting in a ‘NO RACE’ being declared. Subsequently the race was abandoned.
General
Track staff were unable to successfully repair the lure to continue the race meeting, subsequently races 3 to 10 were abandoned
