The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

GENERAL

 

Race 1 – Maiden 380m

RHONDA’S DYNO was the best to begin.  BLOCKER MAGIC checked off OCTAVIAN and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to RAVIN’ MAGIC.  RAVIN’ MAGIC raced wide in the home straight.  LISTEN CAPTAIN was inspected by the veterinarian after the race

 

Race 2 – Novice 380m

RHONDA JOAN was the best to begin.  TONI’S QUITE checked off the heels of CRUSHED ICE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  MAYWYN MACEY checked off the heels of ZAYRAH and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.  ZAYRAH checked across the heels of ZINGALONG SHEEDS and raced wide on the turn into the front straight  MAYWYN MACEY checked off the heels of TONI’S QUITE on the turn into the front straight resulting in MAYWYN MACEY losing considerable ground and TONI’S QUITE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

 

Race 3 – 0 – 3 Wins 498m

LIBERTY LEGS was the best to begin.  LAID BACK LAD checked off KEWIN UP and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.  LAID BACK LAD and LONESOME MAX bumped entering the back straight.  KEWIN UP checked across the heels of HI HOMBRE and raced wide into the front straight.

 

Race 4 – 5th Grade 380m

Even start.  General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in FREDRIK and BEACH FRONT losing ground.  EBONY SPECIAL checked across the heels of SHOTGUN LADY causing some inconvenience to NANIERNA in the front straight.

 

Race 5 – 4/5th Grade 498m

The start of the race was delayed one minute due to interstate harness racing running late.

 

PATJACK LOMAR was the best to begin.  BIG BAD TOM crossed from a wide position shortly after the start bumping SCORPIO JAY in on to SCOTTISH CLAN.  BIG BAD TOM continued to shift in bumping COAL CHEETAH causing interference to CAWBOURNE HAZARD.  SCORPIO JAY checked off BIG BAD TOM and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.

 

SCOTTISH CLAND and CAWBOURNE HAZARD tailed off to finish distant.  A veterinary inspection of both greyhounds revealed CAWBOURNE HAZARD to have a shoulder injury and   SCOTTISH CLAN an off hind muscle injury.

 

Race 6 – 4/5th Grade 380m

ON DECK was the best to begin.  VELOCITY KYZON was slow to begin.  VERY SPRITELY was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  BALZAREEN checked off ON DECK and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight causing interference to VELOCITY KYZON.  RAZOR ROSE raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 7 – 4th Grade 380m

PHOTO BOOTH and SNAKE PROOF were the best to begin.   MISS GRAND THEFT checked off GUNNADOO RACER and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.

 

Race 8 – Best 8 380m

Even start with ALL BUT CENTRE slow into stride.  VAPOUR FLIGHT raced on to the heels of REECY GOGOLAC on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds losing ground.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 380m

BLUE HOUDINI was the best to begin.  ELITE ROBBO was slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in BUCKLED losing ground with MAYWYN OODLES being checked and losing considerable ground and BLUE HOUDINI falling.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 380m

Even start.  HASEGAWA was slow into stride.  VELOCITY ONO and AMY’S ELITE bumped approaching the turn out of the back straight resulting in VELOCITY ONO checking off the heels of AMY’S ELITE and losing ground.  MOO MOO checked off BUCKAROO SUE and lost ground after turning out of the back straight.  BUCKAROO SUE and HASEGAWA bumped on several occasions entering the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
