Race 1: CELEBRATING 125 YEARS SHEARER STRIKE BM 45 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

YULETIDE – Jumped outwards and made contact with MIGHTY SAVANNAH.

MIGHTY SAVANNAH – Bumped at start.

DRAGON TOWN – Bounded as start was effected then raced ungenerously throughout. Jockey Lait stated the gelding couldn’t seem to get his footing in the sand.

NORTHERN MAGIC – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the event.

TENMOREGRAND – Travelled wide in the early stages.


Race 2: AWU TOK CUP 30 APRIL 2016 CLASS 6 PLATE - 1000 metres


RHYTHM NATION and STANDOVER were late scratching as there were no jockeys available.

LAST PARDEE – Jumped away awkwardly.

AMERICAN HUSSLER – Could muster no early speed.

BLIIY JAY – Travelled wide for the majority.

Cameron Dixon the rider of HUGHIE AND ME was fined the sum of $100 for his whip use during the race.

Jason Babarovich the rider of KEV’S DESTINY was fined the sum of $100 for his use of the whip.


Race 3: BARCY GOAT RACING 30 APRIL 2016 MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres

READY FOR ROYALTY– Was slow away.

WINDSOR CASTLE – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

BUNDABURRA – Travelled wide in the early stages.

CHANDELEIR LASS – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.

Race 4: REV FEST & RUGBY LEAGUE 1 MAY 2016 CLASS 3 PLATE - 1200 metres


GO SAI – Fractious in the barriers prior to jumping.

SPURSYN – Jumped away awkwardly and slow.

ALPINE GOLD – Dipped shortly after the start and pulled up distressed post race. A veterinary inspection showed no abnormalities but suggested the gelding could have a wind problem.

CURLEY GREY – Was slow away and travelled wide for the majority.

Race 5: UNION HOTEL OPEN HANDICAP - 1200 metres

FOUR IRON and CUMANI were late scratching as there were no jockeys available.

C. Dixon was the rider for SECRETS and permitted to ride 1.5kg overweight as there were no other jockeys available.

LEO’S SPIRIT – Slow to begin.
