Race 1: SCOTT BURKE ELECTRICAL BM55 H'CAP – 850M

GAS BURNER - Slow to begin.

TELEPHOTO - Raced 4 wide with no cover.

WAY UP THERE - Raced wide.

GLENROCK MAX - Raced wide.

HALLE CAT - Jockey K. Gates was reprimanded for using the whip on more then 5 occasions prior to the 100m.

Due to the forecast of further rain Stewards with the consultation of Race Club Officials and Trainers brought races 2 -5 forward.

Amended race times:
Race 2 - 1:50pm
Race 3 - 2:20pm
Race 4 - 2:50pm
Race 5 - 3:20pm

Race 2: BROTHERS SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN PLATE – 1090M

COL'S PRIDE - Began awkwardly.

MOLLARA - Shifted in abruptly at the 100m. Lost near hind plate in running.

MISS ALEXANDRA - Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: ASCOT HOMES BM70 HANDICAP – 1090M

Correct weight was delayed to allow the riders of the first, second placed horses and Stewards to view the photo finish image. Stewards were satisfied with the Judge’s decision and therefore Stewards declared correct weight on the numbers semaphored.

COME BY OFTEN - Began awkwardly.

KIARA QUEEN - Raced wide.

After inspecting the track at the completion of race 3 Stewards with consultation of Senior riders and Race Club Officials deemed the track to be unsafe at the 300m where it had become water logged. Therefore races 4 and five were abandoned.
