Race 1: Curleys Cattle Transport Class 3 Plate 1000 metres:
1st – BEAU DASH 2nd – MONTH OF SUNDAYS 3rd – DENISON 4th – MASTERFUL PLAY

DENISON – Jumped awkwardly at the start and shifted out abruptly.

ONYA DUSTY – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn. Jockey T Brummell reported that the gelding which was having its first start on the dirt failed to stretch out.

Race 2: Kabzs Plumbing Benchmark 55 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – COURT ACTION 2nd – RAPID 3rd – MORE DUST 4th – COWARDOFTHECOUNTY

When no other rider was available stewards permitted D Ballard to ride SIR JAYSTIN 4kgs over its declared weight.

DASHING DUB – Was fractious in the barriers and lost ground then raced wide throughout.

RAPID – Was slow to begin then raced wide rounding the home turn.

WHAT THE HECK – Jockey T Brummell reported that gelding reared as a start was effected then was forced to race wide throughout and was beaten from the 600m.

Race 3: Dulcie Grimshaw QTIS Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – FASHION KURV 2nd – OLLIE OOBA 3rd – MAGNICUS 4th – RAPID DESIRE

RED ‘N’ YARRA – Was a late withdrawal at 11.30am when no rider was available.

Apprentice T Tincknell rode ILES OF TEO.

RAPID DESIRE – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.

ILES OF TEO – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

OLLIE OOBA – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

LIBERTY MARKET – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4: Toby & Gem Harris Road Contractors Boulia Cup Open Handicap 1400 metres:
1st – TUATARA 2nd – STRUMMING 3rd – HASLINGTON 4th – ROCKET ON BY

K Ballard rode HASLINGTON.

T Chambers rode ROCKET ON BY.

STRUMMING – Was slow into stride.

ROCKET ON BY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 5: SMH Equipment Benchmark 60 Handicap 1400 metres:
1st – GUN AND POWER 2nd – DON’T THINK DO 3rd – EXTRA 4th – MR SAUVAGE

When no other rider was available stewards permitted T Chambers to ride HIGHLAND LAD 1kg over its declared weight.

EXTRA – Shifted out very abruptly at the start and lost several lengths. Trainer Mr W Crossland was told that a warning would be placed on the gelding. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
