1st – SURPASSER 2nd – DESERT SWEEP 3rd – DEL PALIO 4th – MONDUKE

DEL PALIO – Began awkwardly with its head up and lost ground.

MONDUKE – Knuckled on jumping.

WITCHES WHICH – Passing the 400m had to be steadied when crowded for room.

Race 2: Val Cragg QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – BACKTOSPEC 2nd – MOLONGLE HERO 3rd – AGUABLANCA 4th – PEEL’EM FIRST

RED ‘N’ YARRA – Was a late withdrawal at 8.30am when no rider was available.

MY WINDOW SILL – Was slow to begin.

PEEL’EM FIRST – Began awkwardly.

Race 3: Keith Wallace Memorial Benchmark 65 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – MOONLIGHT CAFE 2nd – COURT ACTION 3rd – ALO MAGIC 4th – EXCEEDED

WATCH THE RED – Began awkwardly.

NATE – Was standing awkwardly when a start was effected resulting in the rider becoming unbalanced in the saddle and losing ground.

Race 4: Wayne Uren/Salty Thomas/Glen Bell Class B Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – FLIGHT TO GLORY 2nd – BUCKANARA 3rd – EPIC CAMEL 4th – TEN TORINOS

SPIN AGAIN – Was a late withdrawal at 8.30am when no rider was available.

DON’T THINK DO – Blundered shortly after the start. On return to scale apprentice K Aho explained that her mount resented the kick back and never travelled comfortably at any stage.
