GENERAL
As the following runners had not raced for an extended period, they underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and were cleared to race.
INNOVATES and MAVEN. 

Race 1: MY VILLAGE BAKEHOUSE MAIDEN PLATE – 950 Metres

Co-Trainer T. Rowe was asked to explain the reasons why POINT TWO was scratched from today’s race. Mr. Rowe explained that following its work on Friday it was his opinion POINT TWO would be better suited at the upcoming Laura race meeting Saturday 28 June 2025 at this stage of its preparation. His explanation was noted.

GERALDINE'S WISH – Put its head down as the start was effected and was slow to begin. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
KELLISA – Slow into stride. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
Race 2: FUTURE COMPUTERS TWO, THREE & FOUR YEAR MAIDEN HANDICAP – 1250 Metres
 
Trainer S. Massingham was asked to explain the reasons why OVERWATCH was scratched from today’s race. Mr. Massingham explained the filly had done fast work on Friday and he was not satisfied with its recovery following this and for this reason decided it was in the best interest of OVERWATCH to scratch the filly from today’s race. His explanation was noted.
 
BRAVOS CARLOS – Slow into stride. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
MAKEMINEMILO – Shifted out shortly after the start bumping with WICKED RED SOX on two occasions. Shifted wider when awkwardly placed at heels forcing WICKED RED SOX wider.
 
WICKED RED SOCKS – Bumped on two occasions shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority.

GOLDEN OCTAVIAN – Over-raced in the early stages. When asked to explain today’s performance jockey R. Wiggins explained that in his opinion the gelding would be better suited ridden quieter over a shorter distance. Trainer S. Massingham was in agreeance with jockey Wiggin’s assessment.
 
Race 3: LADBROKES QUICK MULTI CLASS 3 HANDICAP – 1400 Metres
 
Co-Trainer T. Rowe was asked to explain the reasons why SHE’S A MISSION and BRAND NEW were scratched from today’s race. Mr. Rowe explained that SHE’S A MISSION had been scratched on veterinary advice following its poor performance at Innisfail 21/06/2025. Mr. Rowe was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance for SHE’S A MISSION prior to its next start or trial. BRAND NEW was scratched on veterinary advice after being cast in its stable box. Mr. Rowe was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance for BRAND NEW prior to its next start or trial. His explanations were noted.
 
REDAVNI – Slow to begin. Over-raced in the middle stages.
 
HARROW (IRE) – After beginning well raced forward and travelled comfortably in the lead. Shifted out under pressure near the 200 metres bumping BOLD FEELING.
 
MOEGREEN (NZ) – Over-raced in the early stages. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
BOLD FEELING – Bumped on the hind quarters near the 200 metres and was momentarily unbalanced.
 
Race 4: KENSINGTON PARK BM60 HANDICAP – 1500 Metres

GROVERS PREDICTION – Slow to begin.
 
KICKAGOAL KENNY – Bumped on jumping. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Made the 800 metre crossing awkwardly.
 
THE HONEY BADGER – Shifted out at the start bumping KICKAGOALKENNY. Stewards noted rider N. Thomas exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ two) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
 
SEVENTIES HIT – Stewards noted jockey R. Wiggins exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ three) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
 
Race 5: CASHCOR ENGINEERING BM70 HANDICAP – 950 Metres

HIGHBAR – Slow to begin. Shifted in on its own accord making contact with the inside running rail near the 750 metres and again near the 500 metres.

ALI'S JAB – Fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly, was bumped shortly after the start and lost ground.   
 
HARTSHORN – Shifted out shortly after the start bumping ALI’S JAB.

Race 6: MAYFAIR BUYERS AGENT OPEN WEIGHT FOR AGE – 1250 Metres

INCHING CLOSER – Was declared a late scratching at 9.50am on veterinary advice. Trainer M. Dale was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance for INCHING CLOSER prior to its next start or trial.
 
SPEED LEGEND – Slow to begin.
 
ARMOUR FORCE – Over-raced in the middle stages. 
 
MR MAESTRO (NZ) – Over-raced in the middle stages. Raced three wide for the majority with no cover.   
 
Race 7: PAUL DAVIS CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT BM55 HANDICAP –    1250 Metres

AMMAND – Trainer S. Cooper was fined the sum of $100 under the provisions of LR 67(1) for the late declaration of rider when other riders were available.  
 
NOBLE ATTACK – Slow into stride. Stewards noted jockey C. Meehan exceeded the permitted strikes of the whip prior to the 100 metres (+ one) under AR132(7)(a)(ii); however, given the totality of the whip use no further action was taken.
 
LORD POWER – Slow into stride. Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
ELSPHERE – Slow into stride. Had a tendency to lay out in the middle stages and into the home straight. 

WAR COUNCIL – Shifted out at the start bumping GAZZA’S DIAMOND. When asked to explain today’s performance jockey R. Wiggins advised the gelding raced keenly today and, in his opinion would benefit with gear changes prior to its next start. Trainer S. Royes was in agreeance with jockey Wiggins’ assessment and advised it his intention to remove the blinkers and add a tongue tie to the horse’s gear for its next start. 
 
GAZZA'S DIAMOND – Bumped on jumping. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Eased off heels near the 150 metres.
 
TARGETED – Over-raced in the early stages.
 
FOURSOMES – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near front leg. Trainer F. Wieland was advised he must provide a veterinary clearance for FOURSOMES prior to its next start or trial.
