Race 1: SKY RACING OPEN H’CAP – 2200M

HIGHLY GENTLE – J. Byrne reported at scale that his mount jarred up on the good track today. J. Byrne was reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts right to the finishing line.

Race 2: A M GILES & CO QTIS 2YO H’CAP – 1110M

BURN NOTICE – Jumped awkwardly and then was brushed by another runner and became unbalanced.

CONGELATOR – Struck heels after being bumped by another runner after leaving the 900m.

DOUMBEK – Ran wide making the home turn.

GAME OF DREAMS – Raced wide throughout. Inclined to hang out rounding the home turn.

GUINIGI PRINCE – Held up for clear running in the early stages of the home straight.

MISHANI EL LOBO – Had to steady away from heels when taken in by another runner near the 100m.

HEART SKIPT A BEAT – Raced wide without cover.

MARGO MAREE – Shifted in after leaving the 900m, tightening runners to the inside. Rider K. Wharton was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. Had to be steadied away from heels after leaving the 300m. K. Wharton reported at scale that he was of the opinion that his mount was shin sore. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer J. Green advised that the filly would be sent for a spell.

MISHANI SILVA – Slow to begin and then had to steady away from heels shortly after the start.

OUR CINDERELLA – Jumped awkwardly.

THE LAST KISS – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Bumped another runner after leaving the 900m. Had to be steadied away from heels near the 400m.

Race 3: AG DESIGNER JEWELLER OPEN H’CAP – 1050M

ROCKY KING – Apprentice B. Stower reported at scale that after being crossed by another runner in the early stages, her mount commenced to hang out and continued to do so until after entering the home straight.

LUCKY METEOR – Jumped awkwardly and made contact with another runner. Raced wide without cover.

TISANI TOMSO – Raced wide throughout.

SOLDI DOMANI – Jumped awkwardly.

Race 4: WINNING EDGE PRESENTATIONS 0MW H’CAP – 1600M

The start of this race was delayed when I’M IN LOVE, which reared over backwards in the barriers, was examined by the veterinary surgeon and declared a late scratching at 2.20 pm by order of stewards acting on veterinary advice. Stewards ordered that all monies invested on I’M IN LOVE be refunded, with the following deductions to apply to successful wagers:

1 cent in the dollar for the Win #12
2 cents in the dollar for place of winner #12
2 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #4
1 cent in the dollar for 3rd place #1

Trainer B. Lockwood advised stewards that the mare would now be sent for an immediate spell.

SIGMUND – Raced wide until passing the 1000m.

ELEMENT OF CHANCE – Knuckled on jumping away.

MULLET MAN – Raced wide without cover after leaving the 800m.

LORD COCONUTS – Jumped awkwardly. Raced ungenerously passing the 1200m. Held up after leaving the 500m and had to steady away from heels near the 300m to obtain clear running.

NICKED AND COURT – Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and hampered another runner.

RED LETTER DAY – Slow to begin.

LEPRECHAUN LAD – Raced wide until passing the 1000m. Weakened in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be exhibiting a slight inspiratory whistle. Trainer P. Butterworth undertook to provide to stewards the results of an endoscopic examination he intends to have carried out on the horse.

CORONATION BRUISER – Kicked by another runner prior to being loaded, examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to run. Checked shortly after the start when tightened for room.

Race 5: CARLTON MID QTIS 3YO H’CAP – 1350M

MAN OF HIS WORD – Ran wide making the home turn.

IN HIS STRIDE – Made contact with another runner and became unbalanced after improving quickly between runners near the 50m resulting in apprentice J. Orman’s foot momentarily slipping from the offside iron.

STORMCRAFT – Jumped awkwardly and bumped another runner. Held up rounding the home turn.

DON’T DENY US – Jumped awkwardly and then bumped another runner.

DANGLISSA GIRL – Raced wide without cover until near the 700m.

OPINIONATED – Had to be steadied away from heels near the 900m.

TAMROOKUM – Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide without cover. Had to be checked to avoid the heels of OPINIONATED (E. Ljung) near the 250m. Apprentice E. Ljung pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR. 137(a) for allowing her mount to shift out when not fully clear of TAMROOKUM and her licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 9 days, to commence at midnight on Wednesday 25 November and expire at midnight on Friday 4 December 2015.

Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to FIRM 2.

Race 6: TATTERSALL’S ARCADE CLASSIC F&M – 1200M

GOLDEN FALLS – Jumped awkwardly. Eased down in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had broken down behind.

ROSENET – R. Wiggins was questioned regarding the tactics he adopted on the horse. He stated that he had been instructed to ride the mare handy, however after a short distance when ROSENET was not able to obtain a position close to the leaders, he elected to steady and then found himself trapped in a 4-wide position. He said approaching the 1000m he then pushed forward with the hope of racing outside the leader when he realised that TUKIYO had crossed FRILL SEEKING. He added that he had to do extra work to clear SARISARA near the 900m and did not reach the lead until after leaving the 800m. He said that his mount travelled well from that point and it was not his intention to go forward to cross TUKIYO. The explanation was noted.

SARISARA – Raced wide without cover.

DEFINE – Raced wide throughout.

FRILL SEEKING – Had to be steadied away from heels near the 900m.

Race 7: TATTERSALL’S RECOGNITION STAKES – 1600M

JUMBO PRINCE – M. Cahill was questioned regarding the horse’s performance. He stated that the horse raced below his expectations and did not quicken when asked to improve approaching the home turn.

BEWHATYOUWANNABE – Jumped away awkwardly. Shifted out to avoid heels when pulling hard after leaving the 1000m.

CHOICE BRO – Taken wider by another runner after leaving the 1000m. Had to be steadied to avoid heels near the 100m.

SHOTOVER RIVER – Held up rounding the home turn.

VOLKHERE – Connections advised that it would be the intention to have the gelding ridden in a more forward position if circumstances permit. The horse settled in a midfield position.

VICTORY HOTEL – Pulled hard after leaving the 1400m and then raced without cover for the remainder of the event.

TRAVESTON GIRL – Jumped awkwardly and then knuckled.

BEST OF THE REST – J. Byrne was reprimanded for permitting his mount to shift in near the 100m when not fully clear of another runner.

TEAR GAS – Disappointed for a run after leaving the 200m and had to be steadied.

CHILLIN WITH DYLAN – Hampered when tightened for room shortly after the start. Held up and then had to steady away from the heels of another runner near the 200m.

Race 8: SINGAPORE AIRLINES 0MW H’CAP – 1110M

SHADOW FORCE – Kicked out in its raceday stall, examined by the veterinary surgeon and declared a late scratching at 4.10 pm when it was found to be lame in the near hind leg. The horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to its next start.

FLORIDA FELLOW – Raced wide without cover.

TRALFAZ – Slow to begin. Apprentice T. Wolfgram was reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts right to the line.

BRITAILA KATE – Held up rounding the home turn and did not obtain clear running until after leaving the 300m. Inclined to lay in behind the heels of another runner near the 100m.

ONE IN ONE OUT – Bumped near the 1000m and then commenced to overrace, got its head up and had to be restrained off heels passing the 800m.

WARHOGG – Jumped away awkwardly.

PROFILER – Raced wide without cover.

SUNSET SHOWDOWN – Shifted in near the 1000m and bumped the hind quarters of another runner. Held up in the early stages of the straight and then had to alter course near the 150m to obtain clear running.
