From Beaudesert Race Club – 6 March 2015:
Race 4 – Trainer M Caltabiano reported that HEAD DRAGON had been galloped on, on its off hind leg. Mr Caltabiano was of the view that this may have had some bearing on the horse’s disappointing performance.

App. Hearn added that it was not his intention to have the horse lead on that occasion as the mare’s usual pattern of racing is to settle in the second half of the field. He stated that the same instructions were issued today which from a wide alley he was able to comply with resulting in the mare settling towards the rear of the field. Stewards noted the explanation.
