Stewards permitted the following overweights:
Race 3: 14 TOOBLOOS – B. Thornton + 0.5kg (56.5kg)
Race 3: 16 ROSE OF CHANTILLY – D. Turner +0.5kg (56.5kg) (late engagement on race morning).
Race 5: 15 SO ELUSIVE – B. Thornton + 0.5kg (56.5kg)
 
As Jockey A. Thompson was not riding for acceptable reasons, Stewards permitted the rider change(s) as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
RACE 1:TAB MAIDEN PLATE   2200 M

HOPEFUL CAUSE – Began awkwardly.
 
OLE ALI – Raced keen early and allowed to stride around the field to take the lead passing the 1300m when the pace of the race slackened.  
 
SECRET FENKEL – When questioned, rider B. Thornton stated it was his intention to settle midfield, however; from the wide gate, was unable to do so and was obliged to settle further back than anticipated. He added in his view, had the horse secured a closer position in the running, it would have had a better chance of winning.
 
TORMANZOR (NZ) – Began awkwardly.
 
VEGA SICILIA – Contacted at the start.
 
SHARK PARK (NZ) - Shifted in at the start and contacted VEGA SICILIA. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Approaching the 200m, was carried in by TORMANZOR (NZ), which shifted in before being corrected.
 
RAINBOW GLITTER – Blundered at the start.

SHE CAN SOAR – When questioned, rider A. Butler stated after beginning well from the wide gate, he was unable to find cover and elected to push forward to take the lead.
 
RACE 2:SKY RACING QTIS TWO-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP   1400 M
 
RULE THE NIGHT – Passing the 900m, steadied when tightened between ZOU ZOU KAPADOKIA and HOT SUN (B. Lerena), which shifted out and away from the heels of DANCING BY. Rider B. Lerena was reprimanded pursuant to AR131(a) for careless riding in this incident.
 
ROCK AFFAIR – Raced three wide from the 900m. the After the running of this race, it was noted the gelding had lost its off fore plate.
 
ZOU ZOU KAPADOKIA – Slow to begin. Shortly after the start, App J. Newman was almost dislodged after clipping the heels of DANCING BY, which shied out and away from CHAYSE 'N' POP. In the circumstances, no action was taken.
 
HOT SUN – Began awkwardly.

CHAYSE 'N' POP – Rider D. Turner reported that the colt hung out throughout, made the home turn awkwardly, proving difficult to ride and over the concluding stages did not feel right in its action in front. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer J. Bellamy was advised a warning would be placed on the colt for its poor performance.
 
RACE 3:XXXX GOLD QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE         1000 M

OVER SPRAY – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a small presence of blood in its mouth.

AGADOO – Slow into stride. When under pressure in the home straight, laid in.
 
I AM MERIDA – Raced wide for the majority. A post-race veterinary examination revealed gelding to have cardiac arrythmia (first occasion). Trainer M. Dunn was advised I AM MERIDA would require a veterinary clearance inclusive of the satisfactory results of an electrocardiography (ECG) of more than 60 seconds in duration performed whilst the horse is at rest, and a cardiac auscultation within 15 minutes of the horse completing a satisfactory gallop of at least 1000m prior to resuming in a race, official trial or jumpout. 

PIPPIE POMAR – Raced wide for the majority.

SINFULL – Raced wide for the majority.

TOOBLOOS – Received farrier attention to the near fore plate in the tie ups. Held up for clear running from the 500m until the 300m. Near the 150m, shifted out and around the heels of I AM GONE to obtain clear running. Approaching the winning post, raced in restricted room between OVER SPRAY and AGADOO.

ROSE OF CHANTILLY – Slow to begin and lost ground.
 
RACE 4:POCO VINO CLASS 5 HANDICAP    1200 M
 
PARETO – When under pressure in the home straight, laid in proving difficult for D. Peisley to ride out.
 
ULUWATU – Required its crossover noseband to be readjusted upon arrival to the barriers.

ATOMIC SELFIE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to resuming racing from an extended break.
 
RACE 5:AR PLUMBING SERVICE QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN PLATE     1400 M

ARGENTUM ROCK – For a short distance approaching the 1000m, raced tight. Passing the 600m, dipped.

OCTOBER MANIFESTO – Slow to begin. Raced wide from the 900m. After the running of this race, it was noted the gelding had lost its near hind plate.
 
TRUST IN THE ROCK – Passing the 1300m, steadied when tightened by ARGENTUM ROCK (Y. Lewis), which shifted in when not quite clear. Rider Y. Lewis was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances. When racing keenly for a short distance passing the 1000m, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ARGENTUM ROCK and near the 800m, momentarily tightened SO ELUSIVE onto WILD BEAN. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
WILD BEAN – Momentarily tightened near the 800m. Raced wide without cover from the 900m.  

EDGE OF INFINITY – Held up for clear running from the 500m until approaching the 300m.

PIGGIETALES – When under pressure in the home straight, laid out.
 
SO ELUSIVE – Momentarily tightened near the 800m.
 
SEALORD (NZ) – Over raced in the early and middle stages. For a short distance approaching the 1000m, raced tight along with ARGENTUM ROCK to the inside of MONTE CARLO MISS (E. Lang). Apprentice E. Lang was advised she must make a greater effort to protect her fellow riders. When racing keenly near the 900m, shifted out and steadied from the heels of MONTE CARLO MISS, which shifted in.
 
RACE 6:LIAM O'BRIEN OPEN HANDICAP    1400 M

LIVING FREE – Rider N. Heywoodpleaded guilty to a charge pursuant to AR131(b) in that he failed to ride his mount out over the final two strides of the race, which in the opinion of Stewards cost LIVING FREE third placing. Rider N. Heywood’s license to ride in races was suspended for a period of fourteen(14) days, commencing midnight Sunday 21 June 2026, concluding midnight Sunday 5 July 2026. In assessing penalty, account was taken of his guilty plea, record and the QRIC Penalty Guidelines.
 
OUR MAGNUS – Laid out approaching and rounding the home turn.
 
OCEAN ALPS – Began awkwardly. Shortly thereafter, was buffeted and tightened for room between runners.
 
HIGH DANDY (NZ) – Raced keen early.
 
RACE 7:GOLD COAST BOWLS & COMMUNITY CLASS 3 PLATE         1000 M

CHILLED WITH ICE – Began awkwardly.
 
MILEY'S MEMORY – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination due to resuming racing from an extended break. Raced wide for the majority.
 
HI TIAGO – Re-saddled upon arrival to the barriers. Began awkwardly.
 
AUTUMNGIRL – Slow to begin.

VEIN GIRL – Rider T. Fenlon could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.  
 
RACE 8:RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP NOW! BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP        1400 M

GAMBINO – Slow to begin. Raced three wide with no cover from the 800m. Rider D. Peisley was fined $100 pursuant to AR132(7)(a)(i) for the use of his whip in consecutive strides prior to the 100m.

HELLO LOVELY – Rider A. Allen reported he had to make use of the mare early to lead, and following on from a hard run at its previous start, HELLO LOVELY did not finish the race off and was disappointing. He added the mare may have come to the end of its preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer D. Bougoure confirmed HELLO LOVELY will now be spelled.

OLD SONG – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running from the 500m until passing the 400m. Approaching the winning post, steadied when racing in restricted room and was unable to be fully tested to the end of the race.

KEEP IT LOKI – Slow to begin. When under pressure near the 400m, hung in towards the heels of GAMBINO before being corrected and taken wider. Rider F. Larson reported his mount hung in throughout.
