The Following runners were declared late scratchings at 7:56am due to no available riders:

Stewards permitted trainer G Rafter to scratch HIT ‘EM UP on Friday 5/6/26 due to no available rider, as he would have to leave the stables prior to the time that scratchings would be finalised.
 
 
Race 1: THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS BM55 Handicap (1550METRES)
 
BRASCO – Began awkwardly and slow into stride as a result.
 
STELLAR LEGEND – Raced ungenerously in the early stages. Laid inwards when under pressure in the home straight and bumped with SIDESHOW FRANKIE near the 100m.
 
JETPACK VERDI (NZ) – Raced wide throughout. Apprentice A Meissner was reminded of her obligations to ensure she rides her mounts out fully to the finish.
 
SIDESHOW FRANKIE – Raced keenly in the middle stages. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure in the home straight. Near the 100m bumped with STELLAR LEGEND when that runner laid inwards.
 
 
 
Race 2: MINING & ENERGY UNION QTIS BENCHMARK 60 Handicap (1170 METRES)
 
GRAND DE LAGO – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
BAYERISCHE – Began awkwardly. Raced wide in the early stages.
 
MIMMY’S SECRET – Began awkwardly and bumped with I’M STELLAR. Raced keenly in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards when under pressure in the home straight.  Apprentice T Orr was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(i) for applying his whip on two consecutive strides prior to the 100m.
 
I’M STELLAR – Bumped by MIMMY’S SECRET on jumping. Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
 
 
Race 3: OAKA CONSTRUCTIONS OPEN Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
SOOPAT – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the early stages. Raced wide in the early stages. Laid inwards when under pressure in the home straight.
 
JUST SUPER – Blundered on jumping and slow into stride as a result. Laid inwards when under pressure in the home straight.
 
DIDDLEY SQUAT – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after not competing for an extended period and was cleared to start. Began awkwardly. Jockey E Bell reported upon returning to the scales that her mount had felt awkward in it’s action over the final 200m. A subsequent post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor post-race recovery.
 
THE SQUIRE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection after racing in the preceding seven days and was cleared to start. Blundered on jumping. Raced wide throughout. When questioned in relation to the performance apprentice J Dooley reported that in her opinion the gelding may not have appreciated the heavier going in the early and middle stages however had let down well over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed THE SQUIRE to be lame in the right hind leg. Trainer G Bell was advised that THE SQUIRE would require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
 
 
 
Race 4: COAL AUSTRALIA Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)
 
ASK ME HARRY – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
FROSTY QUEEN – Began awkwardly bumping TRICKETT’S JEWEL. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the final 100m.
 
TRICKETT’S JEWEL – Blundered on jumping and bumped by FROSTY QUEEN shortly after. Raced keenly in the early stages. Inclined to lay inwards when under pressure in the home straight.
 
ANDERS KISS – Began very awkwardly. When questioned in relation to the performance trainer L Manzelmann stated that in opinion the filly may not have handled the heavier track conditions today, he further added that ANDERS KISS was first up from a spell and would derive significant fitness benefit from the run. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer L Manzelmann was advised that a warning would be placed on ANDERS KISS’s record for a poor performance.
 
 
 
Race 5: SEE YOU 7TH NOVEMBER BENCHMARK 50 Handicap (1000 METRES)
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed after the photo finish camera had malfunctioned, to allow the judge to confirm placings off the available replays.
 
The declaration of correct weight was further delayed to allow apprentice A Meisnner (WHATTA WHIT) the opportunity to view the available replays to ascertain grounds for a possible protest against LADY DE VEGA in the home straight. After doing so, Ms Meisnner elected not to proceed and subsequently correct weight was declared.
 
DISCOVERED GOLD – Began awkwardly. Raced keenly in the middle stages. Laid inwards when placed under pressure in the home straight. Apprentice T Orr reported that his mount had raced one pace throughout and failed to quicken when asked for an effort.
 
SPEED KING – Began awkwardly. Jockey E Bell reported that her mount had failed to handled to the softer track conditions today.
 
WHATTA WHIT – Blundered on jumping and slow into stride as a result. Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 200m switched outwards to maintain clear racing room when LADY DE VEGA shifted inwards under pressure. Apprentice J Dooley (LADY DE VEGA) was reminded of her obligations to ensure that she is clear of other runners when shifted ground.
 
LADY DE VEGA – Began awkwardly. Laid inwards when under pressure in the home straight.
