Race 1: Samsons Fruit & Veg Class B Handicap 900 metres:
1st – FAST ANNIE 2nd – DUKE CELESTE 3rd – DAZZLING LADY 4th – COLLIDE

RIKKI DYNAMO – Was slowly away after jumping awkwardly with its head in the air. On returning to the saddling enclosure the gelding was found to have bled from both nostrils in running. Stewards acting under the provisions of AR.53A.(4)(b) advised Trainer Ms. L Ashford that the gelding would not be permitted to start in any race for a period of three months, and would be required to gallop 1000 metres to the satisfaction of stewards prior to racing.

COLLIDE – Was caught wide without cover in the early and middle stages. Shifted in marginally under pressure near the 150 metres inconveniencing another runner.

SERIKOS FLYER – Was inconvenienced by another runner which shifted in marginally under pressure near the 150 metres.

Race 2: Warehouse Design & Packaging Maiden Plate 1010 metres:
1st – SPIRITED SAINT 2nd – BAR BABY 3rd – HONEST FRIEND 4th – JOHNNY FIX IT

LITTLE MISS SING – Underwent a veterinary examination at the barriers and was cleared to start.

JOHNNY FIX IT – Was slowly into stride. Jockey S Wilson reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out down the running.

SPIRITED SAINT – Was slowly into stride. Was inclined to race awkwardly for a few strides near the 700 metres shifting in and placing App. N Yadi at a disadvantage.

BAR BABY – App. S Wiseman reported the filly was inclined to race greenly throughout bumping heavily with another runner rounding the home turn.

HONEST FRIEND – Bumped heavily rounding the home turn with another runner which was racing greenly.

Race 3: Graham Hotel Bracelet Benchmark 65 Handicap 1010 metres:
1st – DESTRUCTION 2nd – ROSE OF CLARE 3rd – ARONSON 4th – MASTER DANNY

DESTRUCTION – Reluctant to load. Was slowly away after jumping awkwardly with its head in the air. Trainer Mr. F Wieland was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s barrier manners which would be monitored at future starts.

MASTER DANNY – App. B Swaffer reported that the gelding was inclined to hang in throughout placing him at a severe disadvantage. Shifted in inconveniencing another runner when racing ungenerously near the 500 metres. Trainer Ms. J Ball was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s racing manners which would be monitored at future starts.

FEISTY BELLE – Was inconvenienced near the 500 metres by another runner which was racing ungenerously.

ARONSON – Made the home turn awkwardly.

Race 4: P.I.M.S. QTIS Benchmark 60 Handicap 1210 metres:
1st – WILL HE FLY 2nd – ROAD FOX 3rd – DANE WILL DO 4th – BOLT FROM THE BLUE

AIR OF HEAVEN – Was reluctant to load. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Trainer Ms. T Ball was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s barrier manners which would be monitored at future starts.

ROAD FOX - Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

WILL HE FLY – Was slowly into stride.

LOVE FROM LYNDI – Was slowly into stride.

DANE WILL DO – Was caught wide in the early and middle stages.

MAN OF BUSINESS – Shifted in marginally when placed awkwardly to the inside of improving runners near the 150 metres resulting in another runner which was following being hampered.

KISSER - Hampered near the 150 metres when tightened for running by another runner which shifted in marginally.

Race 5: Airfirst Mareeba Cup Class 6 Handicap 1500 metres:
1st – ELEMENT OF CHOICE 2nd – KAMARAH 3rd – FIRMITAS 4th – PEMBERTON

BILT LEICA – Was slow to muster early pace. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any significant findings.

KAMARAH – Raced wide at the home turn.

BLOWIN’ YOUR MIND – Commenced to lose ground at the 600 metres. Jockey K Stone was issued with a reprimand under the provisions of AR137A(5) for use of the whip in a forehand manner on more than five (5) occasions prior to the 100 metre mark. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any significant findings.
