Race 1: St Patricks Day Class 4 Handicap 900 metres:
1st – POWER REPORT 2nd – MIMI’S ROCKET 3rd – MASTERFUL PLAY 4th – SHOW US A SMILE
MASTERFUL PLAY – Bumped on jumping.
MIMI’S ROCKET – Bumped on jumping.
Race 2: Luck Of The Irish Maiden Plate 1000 metres:
1st – VILLAINOUS LASS 2nd – MAGNICUS 3rd – DOWN’S RIDGE 4th – RAPID DESIRE
Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer Mr R Burow for the late declaration of A Spradau as the rider of DOWN’S RIDGE. As no other rider was available stewards permitted A Spradau to ride the gelding 1.5kg over its declared weight.
RUSSIAN BLACK – Reared as a start was effected and lost considerable ground. Trainer was told that a warning would be placed on the gelding.
RAPID DESIRE – Was crowded at the start.
Race 3: Emerald Isle Benchmark 55 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – TOO MANY LIES 2nd – COURT ACTION 3rd – EXTRA 4th – DESERT SWEEP
Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer Mr P Inwood for the late declaration of M Hart as the rider of ELKALATO. As no other rider was available stewards permitted M Hart to ride the gelding 2.5kg over its declared weight.
As no other rider was available stewards permitted K Ballard to ride SIR JAYSTIN 500g over its declared weight.
BOWLED OVER – Was slow to begin then shortly after was buffeted and lost ground.
ELKALATO – Began awkwardly.
SIR JAYSTIN – Raced extremely wide throughout.
Race 4: The Orange And Green Open Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – CARRY ME 2nd – ROCKET ON BY 3rd – STRUMMING 4th – GHOST TRAIN
Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer Ms T Parry for the late declaration of M Hart as the rider of ZED MAN. As no other rider was available stewards permitted M Hart to ride the gelding 3kg over its declared weight.
As no other rider was available stewards permitted M Cummings to ride BUFFETT 500g over its declared weight.
STRUMMING – Began awkwardly.
Race 5: Irish Eyes Are Smiling Class 2 Handicap 1100 metres:

Stewards accepted the explanation tendered by trainer Mr P Inwood for the late declaration of M Hart as the rider of JETEYE WARRIOR. As no other rider was available stewards permitted M Hart to ride the gelding 3kg over its declared weight.
As no other rider was available stewards permitted T Chambers to ride FIRSTINBESTDRESSED 1.5kg over its declared weight.
SERENE ROCKET – Stood flatfooted as a start was effected and lost ground.
JETEYE WARRIOR – Was slow to begin.
FIRSTINBESTDRESSED – Approaching the 100m shifted in abruptly resulting in its rider becoming unbalanced in the saddle.
GRAUMAN – Tailed the field throughout. Trainer told that a warning for being uncompetitive would be placed on the gelding and should it not improve at its next start it would be placed in barriers trials to prove its competitiveness.
