SUPPLEMENTARY  REPORT

At Cunnamulla Diggers Race Club- 10 October 2026

Stewards held an inquiry at Toowoomba Office on the 15/10/2026 into Jockey P Randall’s use of the whip and after hearing evidence and viewing race day footage available to them acting under the provision of AR132(7)(a)(ii) found Jockey Randall Guilty for using his whip excessively in Races 3, 4 and 5 respectively. Stewards suspended his licence to ride in races for a period of 13 days to be served cumulatively for his breach of that rule from the 16th of October up to and including the 28th of October 2026 allowing him the freedom to return to race riding on the 29th October 2026.In determining penalty Stewards considered the severity of the rule breach over the three races, for the penalty to act as a deterrent, the number of strikes in totality, Jockey Randall’s record and his guilty plea. Jockey Randall was advised of his right to a review.
