GENERAL
 
As rider S Sweedman was unable to attend today’s meeting (transport difficulties) changes were made as per the Stewards Summary.
The following runner was scratched by order of Stewards due to no available rider:
Race 2: HELIKEDEMPRETTY
 
Prior to the running of race 1, Stewards and a delegation of riders inspected the section of the track leaving the winning post,
after discussion the riders deemed that section safe to continue the meeting.
 
Race 1:SHADFORTHS-WANDOAN WINDMILL VILLAGE MAIDEN PLATE 900M
 
BODHI – Stewards permitted App M Goring to claim only 1kg of his 2kg claim. Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
GENERAL JETBALL –Bumped on jumping and lost ground.
 
POIRIER – Began awkwardly and bumped. Raced wide throughout. Taken wider when entering the home straight when BODHI laid out.
 
LAID BACK BON – Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
TAMIEKA WARRIOR - Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
MRS VEE – Raced wide throughout.
 
Race 2:WEEROONA FEEDLOT/JUANDAH SANDS OPEN HANDICAP 900M
 
HELIKEDEMPRETTY – Due to rider S Sweedman being unable to attend the meeting he was replaced by app M
Goring as no other rders were available. Prior to running, App M Goring had familiarised himself with the mares
racing manners and elected to withdraw his services, there fore HELIKEDEMPRETTY was scratched by
Stewards at 1:50pm. As betting on course had started, Stewards ordered all bets on HELIKEDEMPRETTY to be
refunded in full with the following deductions to apply:
 
1st - SUNFALL – 16c win, 18c place.
2nd –MISTREY EMPEROR – 18c place.
 
MISTREY EMPEROR – Slow to begin.
 
SUNFALL – Eased off heels passing the 800m.
 
KAT CHINNA – Raced wide throughout.



SAVVY SONG – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Following the running of race 2, a delegation of riders expressed concerns with the state of the track, visibility and the ongoing inclement weather.
Stewards, in consultation with the riding delegation, inspected the section of the track leaving the winning post and found that the integrity of the racing
surface had deteriorated to a point that it was unsafe to continue to proceed and consequently the remainder of the meeting was postponed.
